The refusal to accept that an aggressive violent man might act reasonably with men and violently towards women is truly abhorrent. I have found, to the hilarity of my children, that if you are confronted by an aggressive man ranting and your 6 foot 6, 18 stone husband appears behind you wearing wear farm workwear and looking annoyed, they soon change their tune.

Coming late to the party on this one, but I’m surprised nobody raised an eyebrow at the would-be appointee’s use of “fully female, hormonally” (paraphrasing slightly, but she said it more than once).

It doesn’t matter how much oestrogen you pump into a man, he’s never going to have the same hormone levels as a woman. He’d become VERY ill if he tried to get his testosterone down to even the top end of the expected female range. And this rapist POS clearly still had/has functional testicles, working hard (although presumably shrinking) to rebalance.

The committee’s Chair should be ashamed of herself too, for siding with the indefensible in this hearing.

Agree. I'm an old school, Jurassic, idealistic, Nye Bevan-style socialist. But when I saw Cruz (who would hate me on sight) dismantle this woman, I felt like giving him a standing ovation. Strange times.
