Re males getting endo : I read far and wide when I was in the throes of it, and one book that I still have is 'Endometriosis and Fibroids' written by Dr Sarah Brewer with the National Endometriosis Society. Published 1995, so almost 30 years ago.

She goes through the reproductive anatomy and how it differentiates in utero. Mentions:

  • 'In rare cases, men receiving hormone treatment for advanced prostate cancer have been found to have endometriotic tissue, and this is thought to come from the vestiges of the Mullerian duct(s).'
Having just gone through what Mullerian ducts are and how they cease to grow in male embryos once their testosterone production starts.

So yes, it happens. Just very rarely.

Isn't Steph the charmer who organises protests outside women's meetings (Filia?) where protesters feel emboldened to issue rape / sexual assault threats against women attendees?

That Steph?

Maybe having to listen to women talk about women's issues got boring very quickly.

Richards has stepped down as CEO, but hasn't stepped away completely -

"The charity is now in the process of determining Richards’ new role and has not confirmed who is acting as CEO in her stead. "

If this charity is indeed one woman's pet project, she is determined to have Richards stick around. Personally, I suspect Richards has got everything they wanted from the appointment (validation, publicity, 'victimhood'), and sees no reason to actually put any work in.

I'm wondering if the woman who actually employed Steph, was it after a cup of coffee in a cafe or something equally ridiculous, has realised that Steph was not exactly up to the job, but is also likely not inclined to completely sack the waste of space for fear of a discrimination case!
