NHS HR person claims to reject GC applicants

Anyone happen to know where this person works? He's claiming he illegally discriminates against job applicants with GC views, I'd love to discuss that with his employer.

In a now deleted tweet he stated exactly where he worked. This may not have been true, of course.

Sam also claimed to be in a Melbourne dry cleaners when Glinner entered… If Sam is indeed in Australia, all the mentions of Trusts/etc is also crap.

The obvious way would to write/email the head of NHS and the Dept for Health & social care and ask for confirmation this is not official policy.

Yes but if they actually work for the NHS they are bringing heir employer into disrepute.

NHS jobs are applied for online and applicants are selected by the department lead, team lead and interview panel. Everything is in the online portal and applications cannot be discarded by HR.
I suspect Sam is looking for attention and/or talking out of his hat.

If you are qualified for the post, you’ll get an interview although if you document strong views on your application that are irrelevant to the post, I’d be questioning your judgement on why you thought it necessary to include. This is regardless of whether I agree with your ideals or not.

I thought that too, he sems to post every few minutes all day every day! He did however, in a deleted tweet, specifically refer to working in maternity at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton. It would be very interesting if anyone who works there or uses that service was on MN and could comment on whether he is there!

He has also posted about waiting for a mental health assessment. I hope he gets the help he needs soon...

I am afraid that I did rise to the bait, I have contacted that Trust on my NHS email and pointed out that this person claims to work there and that he is gleefully describing illegal HR practices. I sent them a link to this thread. This really gets me angry, as a lifelong NHS worker.

(I have NC for this post, but I am very much a regular here. Because I sent the email from my own NHS email address, under my real name, anyone who reads that email and then reads this thread will be able to tell exactly who I am, so didn't want to use my usual name).

Sam, from Sam’s own postings, is aggressively insisting Sam is a gay man. Sam posts about hating “straights”, that no one who is straight can speak for gay people, that GCs are “paedophiles”, etc. whilst also posting earlier about being a trans-identified female (transman).

Sam needs some help and support, and a pretty huge reality check.

Oh! I hadn't picked up that this person is actually a woman! And presumably a straight one as she is attracted to men. She really isn't well.

It baffles me why they bother. Screenshots are so easy to fake it's surely simpler to do that than go through the trouble of setting up a troll account.
