Anyone happen to know where this person works? He's claiming he illegally discriminates against job applicants with GC views, I'd love to discuss that with his employer.

If you follow the thread down it tells you. However, if the tweet since deleted is true then it’s questionable if they work in an HR capacity. Who knows? I think there are many people who are on X who pretend to be in roles they are not in some vain attempt to make them sound more credible.

It’s the opposite. Gender ideology is homophobic - it negates the concept of same sex attraction and pushes lesbians in particular to accept male sexual partners.

Yet another attempt to link homophobia to feminists and others who don’t believe inner identity alters your sex.

I doubt many UK feminists (especially the lesbian and bisexuals) just see LGB or I as “a belief”- just the idea that your feelings are more important than your biology.

I'm not convinced he even works in the NHS. I do, and that vast majority of jobs are applied for by online application form, not by CV. Nobody sees the name and personal details of the applicants until shortlisting is completed and people have been invited to interview, so no opportunity to look them up on social media until then. At interview it's generally the manager and at least one colleague on the panel. There might also be an HR rep (but in my department i have never had one on a panel with me) but if they wanted to veto a GC candidate they'd have to get the rest of the panel to agree and potentially get them to agree to fake the scoring.

From the profile it seems that Sam is a transman. From the tweets it seems that Sam is unhinged. I hope it is a spoof. Trouble is, it could be real.

@RichardMarxisinnocent is correct re the employment process so I doubt this person is in a position to influence employment.

In a screenshot tweet further down the thread the person claims to work in a birthing unit and love helping birthing parents bring new life into the world. I sincerely hope they aren't a midwife.

If he is an NHS employee, something should happen. Can you imagine the furore if instead of GC he had mentioned another protected characteristic other than belief, ie disability, race or sexuality.
