Probably not, except for a brave few, as it's not an issue for the majority of Scots. The new team are focusing on the things that matter, rather than a side distraction.

However. There is so much ammunition out there to rip Cass to shreds, if they wish to do so. Now that, would be true, popcorn eating time. The spin will be amazing, though probably a low event in reality. Can't wait to find out!

We need a post office style inquiry into the Review. Who knew what, when, and who was directing behind the scenes?

That is where the true conspiracy lies. Political division and opportunism.

I just feel for the minorities being called wrongly "groomers" and worse. Truly, this is their section 28 time. Meanwhile, this forum probably still griping on about stuff in 50 years time. I do find it enjoyable to read on a Bank Holiday Weekend.

What the actual eff are you on about, Mishy?

I could say the same. I like to read critically through these things rather than blindly follow the bleating sheep. Seek your own answers. If you still uphold them after doing the work, then that is on you, and of course your right. But, do, do the work! :) No need to get my name wrong in an attempt at denigration. You lose the argument when you do that.

I've only just seen the typo! Autocarrot, actually, I think. No intent to mis-Mishy you.

I'm pretty good at reading research papers, don't worry; it's my job.

why even bother asking that? Anything other than abject worship at the trans altar is, obviously transphobic and genocidal.

Given the Cass review is so fundamentally flawed and being panned internationally, it's no wonder. Good on Wales for standing their ground.

Changing methodologies, not holding to their own criteria, secret committee members who have interesting associations for a start.

Those with a thinking brain can see what it is. No wonder they met with Florida?

And talk about safeguarding and do no harm - so where was the strategy for those poor kids having their meds withdrawn. Where are the services stepping up to support?

Smells like a setup from the start - we are so much better than this.

Wales looks like the only part of the country, willing to call it out.

I know you will dislike the graphic, but it makes solid points. Why the secrecy?

Let me reassure you Mishy. I've been reading my way through Dr Cass' report and it's a properly executed reliable piece of research evaluation. The team at York have analysed all the research papers to check their method. Then they've had to exclude the results from about half the papers, the ones whose method was so poor that you can't reliably conclude anything from them. They used the results from the rest.

She's explained everything, in depth. It's not light reading (I've not got to the end yet!) but it's well worth the effort.

And unless the BBC are much mistaken https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-68549091 no-one has "had their meds withdrawn". The youngsters who are currently on puberty blockers will continue to get them.

And I still can't figure out what you have against evidence-based medicine. It's not a conspiracy it's just what we try to have for everything else. Still, you do you.
