So the National fed is organising training on their policy ( the organisation with woman in their title , yet doesn’t know what a woman is…..)

Their policy which says about twice as much on trans and gender than it says on disability . …… and promotes organisations that promotes gender ideology to minors ( they no longer promote Mermaids since they were embarrassed into removing that but still promote others )

The trainer Ellie Grady from EDUK puts her pronouns ( she / they ) in their sign off.

I am in the WI on a committee and I have signed up mainly as a spy . Most sessions on their zoom are recorded . This one isn’t going to be ….

What do we know about the trainer Ellie Grady? Any photos of her?
Previous sessions ? What might I expect ?

How can someone with slow handwriting keep a record of what happens if they aren’t recording centrally , without drawing attention to my ineptitude?

Going to be interesting post Cass methinks .

So the WI had a campaign about autism in girls . Essentially the diagnosis for autism is historically based on how males present and diagnosis for women was difficult as they mask and present differently . This campaign sort to address this .

A questionnaire went out to members with autism . First question was “are you a woman? “ I pointed out that asking this question in this way it would skew results because transwomen would answer yes and since a higher proportion of transwomen also have autism this would skew the results even more because they would present autism as a male not female . ( however much they want to be a woman)

But they believe that All women - those with ‘womanly feels’ and ‘people assigned female at birth’ present differently than those of the gender ‘men’ - therefore autism in women is a gendered problem.

according to them.

No it’s not!

autism is not a social construct , it’s a physical condition possibly due to the wiring the brain . We don’t know why.

If a young male goes through male puberty they will experience puberty as a male .if a young male has autism they will experience it as a young male even if 40 years later they decide that they are a TW.

In my (unrelated) job I learnednot to ask the customers yes/no questions such as "did you follow the procedure for dealing with this problem laid out in the help?'.

The thing to do was to ask for data from which you could definitely deduce the answer.

In this case, maybe something about age of first period with a selection of "don't recall / prefer not to say / don't have periods" answers that TW members could select. Yeah Iean some people will just fib but that consideration applies to a lot of things!

I don’t disagree - I’m arguing from the side of people who believe you can have a woman brain with a man body. Making it a female penis - you know, that sort of make believe prick.

I know autism is not a social construct.

I contacted them about Cass as the NFWI is still signposting Gendered Intelligence, Stonewall, Schools Out and GIRES. They said Cass wasn't aimed at adults and more nuanced than I made out. Still really angry they want to prioritise men over children's safeguarding.

Where do they signpost it from @WomensInstituteDeclaration ?
Is it publicly on their website or do you have to log in as a member?
