KJK’s insane rant

Kjk’s decision to attack everyone who is not her lapdog is increasingly destructive. It looks like Can-sg put on a great conference. Those doctors who have spoken up have risked their careers. Kjk has become famous and has started a business from LWS. She has benefited way more than any of these doctors.

Her work could be powerful if she just stopped attacking everyone else. But these days she is a demagogue and causes more harm than good by capitalising on vulnerable and timid women and telling them that they need her to speak for them.

This channel has 101k subscribers and got 73k views on their last video, it's up 19 hours:
The video before that got 56k views, it's up 4 days ago.

There is criticism and there is an obvious attack thread.

Can you point out where you think that this OP has gone through and discussed their points of disagreement with KJK? I might have missed it, so if you think that this thread was posted with good faith intentions to discuss those differences and it has been derailed I am happy to revise my opinion.

I think you will find, when you read through the comments that quite a few of us have stated that we disagree with things that she has said at times. I am all for discussing those differences.

Instead of using the number of people who subscribe to a channel as a benchmark for criticism, why don't you address what she actually says.

Why do you think her LWS meets are awful?

Why is Carl Benjamin like for like? Is Carl Benjamin solely focused on discussing gender identity issues? Is Carl Benjamin an occasional influencer / activist who organises speaking events most weeks?

Like I said I don't normally criticise her, but in the last few weeks I've seen her criticise WRN, Hannah Barnes and say she was 'insulted' to be compared to Helen Joyce on Twitter. Helen and Maya both went to LWS after the New Zealand debacle I assume to show support for her.
Now she's criticising a conference where people like Sonia Appleby attended.
We need all sorts in this fight, I think she'd have an argument in an empty room tbh.

It feels like it's her way or the highway and I don't think she supports other women who don't agree with her 100%.
I probably would have voted for her new party in an election but I've changed my mind this week.
That's it. I don't hate her, I admire her in many ways, but she's destructive, attacking the wrong people.

Andrew Gold has two channels, this is his second channel, so he cross promotes across both.

Plus, it’s all interviews and every interviewee brings their own viewers. Carl Benjamin has loads of viewers, both as Sargon of Whatsisface and his news commentary multi host channel, the Lotus Eaters.

Whereas JammiDodger and Kellie Jay both broadcast largely alone from their own homes (not a pro hired set like Andrew uses for Heretics).

I had such a lovely post all typed out, talking about how a range of personalities and approaches is necessary as the general public is made up of all sorts of different people. And how I may not always agree with KJK but I think she’s a Queen with Righteous Anger and all Power to her.

but then my phone ate my post and I can’t be bothered typing it out again given that I don’t believe the thread was started with good intentions (just the thread name was a teeny bit of a giveaway). So I’ll just ask where my cheese is, because I have a hankering for some Jarlsberg Cheese Dip. One of my bad habits picked up from the USA but it tastes so good!

Either way, this Gold also seems to be a professional at this and this is his profession. This is not like for like.

A channel that covers multiple issues and has a different interview each time and is professionally edited and filmed is not the same as a channel covering a single issue, occasional interviews, unscripted, and in no way professionally made, that is also demonetised and only appealing to a sub section of the population that is interested in this single issue.

I actually think that Jammi is a closer match than Andrew Gold.

She has criticised Hannah Barnes' book. I believe she is doing so because Hannah is still saying that there are some children who should be getting treatment? Is that correct? Because if you are here making the accusation, you must know the basis of why KJK has said something?

What did she criticise WRN for exactly? Did it have any validity?

If she was insulted by being compared to Helen, did she say why? Maybe she just wants to treated as an individual and someone making a comparison to anyone will get a similar result. I have seen not seen her make other comment on Helen Joyce, have you since you have included it in the list of what is causing you discomfort?

This narrative that she should not criticise a conference because some speakers such as Sonia Appleby was there, seems to be an attempt to create events that should not be criticised. Do you think that events should not be criticised if a valid criticism is made?

Do you think that KJK pointing out that some speakers may be still there advocating that 'some children should be medicalised' is not a valid point?

I don’t care if some people find KJK unlikeable (despite my new user name) but pretending she’s unsuccessful/irrelevant because some blokes get YouTube views faster is just downright bizarre.
