Next court case. 2 mums taking NHS England to court for providing unsafe 'treatment' for their gender questioning girls

GARDENING NEEDED PRONTO.

2 mums, one of them called Anna Castle, going to the high court on Match 24th.
Both mums to ND, gender questioning, v likely lesbian teens. Both daughters now residing with affirming fathers. More details can nbe found on crowd justice.

I have no clue how likely they are to be successful given the hideous state of the medical profession on this topic, but i really respect them fighting for their daughters.

Have read this in more detail and i think it has more chance of success than i first thought. This is specifically about older teenagers (17 y..o.s) who are fast tracked into the adult services. In the paediatric setting there ia a requirement for counselling and psychiatric assessments. This is not the case in the adult service so kids can access surgery and drugs with next to no wider assessments. Also something i didnt realise. Adult gender 'treatments' have never been assessed by NICE to determine the efficacy and cost effectiveness. So these kids are fast tracked into a system that has substantially less safeguarding and has never been assessed for safety, efficacy and cost effectiveness.

I think they could have a decent case here.

People need to search for: Hold NHSE to account for providing unsafe treatment for young people

I think this the case referred to by Ritchie Herron last night of Free Speech Nation. He had been part of such a case but had withdrawn a while back.

In the light of the WPATH revelations, presumably the NHS will be in difficulty defending this? But that's a lot of money they've got to find.

Never underestimate the mental hold of the UK's national religion on everyone, even the judiciary. They will be folding themselves into pretzels to avoid ruling against them en large.

What the hell are you blethering on about @NitroNine?

It seems to be a discussion of a case from a couple of years ago:

https://www.pulsetoday.co.uk/news/clinical-areas/womens-health/spina-bifida-patient-wins-legal-case-against-gp-for-not-advising-folic-acid-supplement/

but I'm not sure of the relevance to the case that this thread is about.

The quote fell off my post - it was the post immediately above mine I was replying to. I am aware my communication difficulties can cause issues in expressing my point, so apologies.

I think what @NitroNine is saying is that

  • not all the judiciary are reluctant to rule against the NHS including financially

  • as is exemplified by the case she linked to in which a woman sued the NHS for having Spina Bifida arguing that her mother should have been better advised on pre-conception supplements

  • that NitroNine herself would have her own case for wrongful conception if she didn't think it unethical to pursue such a case

  • and that if the judiciary are willing to rule against the NHS in a case like that, it is not a foregone conclusion that they will be too far in thrall to genderism to rule against them in this one.

I hope I'm wrong! Truly. But I fear I'm not. When it has the potential for massive class action damages coupled to gender nonsense, I fear I can forecast the ruling.

No worries @NitroNine, I assumed there was some kind of communication mix-up.

Bumping this in light of the news on puberty blockers. Whilst that is fabulous news, thw danger is older teenagers will wait and be shunted onto the adult servcies, where there is even less overal sight.

Please support if you have any pennies to spare.

Yes this is what Ritchie had to pull out from, as they'd since changed the way treatment was given in the adult service.

very important indeed.

Cautiously optimistic about todays news about PBs, but older teens and young adults are still at real risk once they've been referred to adult clinics. The forthcoming case is so important. Gardening definitely needed!

Bumping this for digging.

We need these cases to force the changes.
This is vital for the 17+ yr olds.
