It was reported in the mainstream media - was top headline on the NZ Herald site for a while. And I posted a link earlier about the critical comments from the two smaller parties in the coalition government, and then there was an article about his name being released on social media (oh dear how sad).
Not a lot of general discussion though, I don't think. And none of those articles had commenting switched on (that's not unusual, commenting is only usually on for opinion pieces)
