Why aren’t we using our democratic right to protest?

We have a democratic right to protest in the UK.

We have the right to publicly protest for our biological sex rights to be upheld.

Other than a small but dedicated group of people under KJKs movement, women have not taken to the streets. In numbers, there is safety.

So why aren’t we?

Yeah I'm a different poster. I just don't get your point. You seem to be scalding everyone.

Nope. Not scolding.

I don’t see the point of having drawn out discussions who don’t want to protest and have made up their minds about it.

It’s a waste of time from my point of view.

@pronounsbundlebundle the likes of Extinction Rebellion and JSO get stick for their tactics, but the reality is you have to disrupt to get noticed and disrupt in the right way to create change. It's a very difficult thing to get right

It was peaceful protest I was thinking of, not militant direct action. Christ, everyone would get arrested immediately otherwise! Protest to raise visibility. I don’t really fancy waiting another 10-20 years for my bog standard rights back which apparently is what Helen Joyce suspects it will take (see other thread). I just want what we had before it was taken.

I’ve got an aging mother who will most likely need care in the not so long distant future and frankly I am terrified about what will happen to her if men can be women!
