Well the report is still a mystery.

Is there any truth in the rumour which I have just started that outraged persons at Stonewall are setting up a petition to demand that the Royal Mint brings out a limited editions of 50p coins bearing mermaids, clown fish and pregnant male seahorses?

IcakethereforeIam · 13/02/2024 11:45

I think they tried that but they had tuppences self id-ing as groats, 'aparths as quids, it was chaos!

SidewaysOtter · 13/02/2024 12:25

I wonder if the penny has dropped for @DustyLee123 that there's nothing reportable here?

misscockerspaniel · 13/02/2024 12:42

Wow, those are fabulous. I had a browse on their website and found these for the poster (anyone would think we were under surveillance) who reported the thread, presumably to MN not the coppers. May be this is more to their taste but good luck with the price.

For what particular rule infringement, exactly?

I was hoping for a campaign of defacing coins like the suffragettes did. But no-one uses coins any more I suppose, and defacing a card reader doesn't really have the same effect...

With you on reported! We still use coins, though!

I actually bought one with the 'new' pride flag. I don't think that flag will last and I don't think many people will have bought it.

I vaguely recall that there was such a campaign, or a suggestion of one, but on 'paper' money. I can't find any record of it. It may have been around the time of the last election, when posters were talking about the best way to spoil their ballots.

Perhaps it never took off because we are generally law-abiding and take issue with MRAs messing with the law to suit their desires.
