There is an article about this in the Telegraph but I don’t have an archived version so have posted this from the FSU site.

This has been covered in another thread a while ago but this is an updated story covering details on how the Premier League got involved! - There is a video floating around too.

Football fan banned over gender critical posts after 'Stasi' Premier League Investigation – The Free Speech Union

In the four years since the FSU was formed, we’ve come across some pretty appalling examples of private companies punishing their employers and their customers simply for exercising their right to lawful free speech. But this is the most egregious inst...

This is really very sinister. How the FUCK are we here?

RapidOnsetGenderCritic · 03/02/2024 21:28

MrsOvertonsWindow · 03/02/2024 18:33

Incredibly sinister - and again evidence of how the tactics evidenced in the Denton's Report are used.
Sophie Cook mentioned upthread is employed by the trans captured CPS as their misnamed "Speak Out champion" .
Remember the hounding of the Social Worker Rachel Meade started with complaints from a transactivist who works for Sport England.
Newcastle of course work with Stonewall and with their relentless campaign to dismantle women's sport.

Now the press are onto exposing all this, they won't stop.

https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/premier-league-strengthens-its-commitment-to-lgbtplus-inclusion-through-new-strategic-partnership-with-stonewall/

LGBT inclusion now means excluding a Lesbian from watching football matches because she believes in the reality of sex.

Bosky · 04/02/2024 04:20

Linzi says that she doesn't need any gardening done, that the Free Speech Union is funding her case against NUFC and that there are KCs lined up to represent her pro bono. They know that this will be a really important case - and that the Premier League will not have been doing their Stasi act just for NUFC.

Others are comparing this shit-show to the Soviet Secret Police:

Giles Udy
As a historian of the Gulag and the Soviet secret police, this is one of the most chilling things I could ever have imagined seeing in the U.K. No exaggeration - it is straight out of the NKVD/KGB/FSB playbook.

A secret Premier League spy agency has been spying on a football supporter (right down to where she walks her dog and works) for quoting legally protected gender critical views on X and got her BANNED from attending Newcastle games for two seasons.

There's an interesting interview with Linzi, Harry Miller and two guys who also have been targeted by NUFC and have been banned.

They reckon the problem at NUFC is the Security Team, staffed by twisted ex-coppers, and that this is just a continuation of heavy-handed, vindictive discrimination that was the norm by the same Security Team goons under the previous club management when it was owned by Mike Ashley.

Mike Ashley: from Newcastle hero to hate figure in 14 eventful years
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/oct/07/mike-ashley-from-newcastle-hero-to-hate-figure-in-14-eventful-years

It says a lot that NUFC, the Premier League and Northumbria Police seem to think it's fine and dandy for a lesbian to be targeted and repeatedly harassed by blokes sending her threats and photos of her face superimposed on someone being hanged.

Compare and contrast with Scottish police: pulled out all the stops and prosecuted a woman when a gung-ho LGBTQ gay pudding had a fainting fit and fled the country after seeing a picture of Suffragette ribbon tied to a fence, bizarrely perceiving it as a coded message to him of a noose!

Why have they so much power over Police? A few years ago some some loon ranting about a ribbon would have been laughed out of it. Why has it come to this and so quickly too?

WarriorN · 04/02/2024 09:36

Ereshkigalangcleg · 03/02/2024 15:22

A very peculiar Twitter account popped up floating and talking about her a lot in the autumn.

The one claiming to be an employee of NUFC?

Yes

WarriorN · 04/02/2024 09:37

there are KCs lined up to represent her pro bono

Love this. I'm an imagining a scrum and flipping coins as to who is going to get to take this one through!

WarriorN · 04/02/2024 09:43

Thanks for that Bosky, that does sound like it's making more sense as to the motivations and how it got this bad. And the involvement of the local police.

Also going to link this article about the lovely Northumbria police.

WarriorN · 04/02/2024 09:48

Whilst looking for another article I found this from 2019 which is all about pride and Northumbria police, but it's all trans imagery.

And very hypocritical given what Linzi has been put through.

We do see those pink and blue emblazoned police cars and vans driving around Newcastle.

The Telegraph have followed up on this by exposing that an ex civil servant, Helen MacNamara, was until recently, responsible for what they call the "shadowy intelligence agency" that trawled through Linzi's life looking for evidence to punish her for wrong think.

No chance. These sorts of people, especially police or ex-police have too much hubris and will say “there’s no way we are going down over this!” while casually reclining in their chairs with their hands behind their heads.

I will be interested to learn whether data was collected on friends/relatives of Linzi who are not themselves Club members - an even more egregious breach of the DPA/GDPR, as the Club would have no legal basis whatsoever for processing their data.

I understand why the GC angle is being given prominence - and, of course - that is very important, but I really hope the data breaches are also pursued. This has implications for all of us. I'd like to see a really spectacular set of ICO fines, pour encourager (or, rather, discourage), les autres.

lonelywater · 04/02/2024 18:33

I think because the Babylon have been previously acting like an episode of "The Sweeney" (rotherham grooming gangs, Saville, Cyril Smith etc.) they have massively over-corrected and any chance to swear fealty to the Kool aid gang is jumped at with glee.

Villagetoraiseachild · 04/02/2024 19:10

Andrew Doyle about to discuss this with Helen Joyce on Free Speech Nation on GB news channel now, tonight.

Brefugee · 04/02/2024 19:40

people need to ask questions. And those questions should be along the lines of: i suppose the existence of lesbians in the football stadium is going to scare the shit out of all the gay players on the pitch, right?

SapphireSeptember · 04/02/2024 23:08

Just sent this to my youngest brother, who's very GC and likes to go to the football, and has said things online. Hope he doesn't get banned for wrong-think! <waves> Hello G! 😁

Just to echo others. This is terrifying. I hope Linzi wins her case, and the judge mops the floor with NUFC and the PL. Hopefully other teams won't get involved in this sort of nonsense (looking at you Spurs.)

pronounsbundlebundle · 04/02/2024 23:14

This sounds like the next 'Post Office' style ITV drama it's so unbelievable and so David and Goliath.

It sounds pretty slam dunk legally - they were stalking a woman for holding views that 99.9% of the population share and that are protected beliefs.

That Telegraph article seems to have been pulled - showing a 404 error. The URL is correct as it has been archived:

A summary of the DT story has also been pulled from The Sceptic. Caught it in Google Cache and archived it:

It is still live on the MSM version of the DT story (for now, anyway):

Meanwhile, "Mr Moustache" aka Benjamin "100-genders-and-Identified-as-BAME-to-blag-a-conference-ticket" Butterworth has been on GBNews, explaining how NUFC were right to ban Linzi because she's so scary that her very presence can make a whole stadium-full of footie fans "potentially feel very unsafe" 😱

WOKE Premier League | 'HYPOCRITICAL Newcastle United BAN fan for stating 'sex is binary'

"Mr Moustache" 😂

Linzi:

What Mr Moustache is failing to mention in all of this is,

1- nothing was said or done within the stadium to an individual or any member of their staff. I said it on my social media which is nothing to do with them.

2- the comment around the ideology was a conversation that someone has taken THAT screenshot from & passed it around. If you don’t know why I’m of the opinion about the origins of the cutting & experimenting of children; I would recommend researching Josef Mengele.

Have a lovely day ❤️

Massive support for Linzi! 💚🤍💜

And a lot of people are learning about puberty blockers and how those lovely "gender doctors" went to work for the Nazis, castrating gay men and doing horrible experiments on children in the concentration camps.

So it has @Bosky.
Possible it was lazy journalism with a failure to fact check accurately? I did note that the language didn't suggest a direct line of management. Still, it's a useful reminder of the small circle of influential people who take on all these positions of power - and how the trans capture of the civil service is then shared across into other areas of society.

WarriorN · 05/02/2024 09:55

Just thought I'd mention for anyone who's is new to the cause, Linzi's tweet about the idea of trans medicalisation's links to the Nazis is detailed at length by Malcolm Clark, a TV science documentary producer, on his Twitter, @twisterfilm.

You can search his Twitter using key words and he has an active substack, but this is one particular thread detailing the origins of the operations. The man who did the first 'vaginoplasty' went on to be one of the key medical experimenters in the death camps, particularly into sterilisation of disabled adults and children.

Why have they so much power over Police? A few years ago some some loon ranting about a ribbon would have been laughed out of it. Why has it come to this and so quickly too?

This sort of misogyny reminds me of an article by Afghani women when the Taliban took over - they thought their male colleagues and family members would stand up for their rights, most didn't but went along with the new, women's rights denying, normal. Almost as if they were just waiting for the chance to deny women human rights. I always think this is the same - there are always so many just waiting for the chance to attack women's rights. Pushing back against the idea women are entitled to have and state opinions or even just name reality. Always looking for an angle to do so.

Thank goodness for the brave and principled KCs willing to push back. We owe a lot to them as well as the women like Maya and now Linzi who are willing to say 'no' and put themselves through legal hell to do so.

The idea that Linzi makes other football supporters 'feel unsafe' is such utter DARVO abuse. How about being stalked making you 'feel unsafe'? It really is the upside down.

zanahoria · 05/02/2024 09:58

I hope Linzi succeeds although football supporters have often struggled to challenge club decisions on these matters. This article comes from someone who campaigned on the matter for many years.

"As a private business a football club can ban whoever they like from their property. If you read the terms and conditions that come with your season ticket they’ll say it could be withdrawn for breaching ground regulations but ultimately clubs give themselves the right to cancel a season ticket “in whole or part by the club without providing any reason”.

https://thefsa.org.uk/news/fsa-faircop-we-need-to-talk-about-club-bans/

Obviously, there has been a long history of fans causing trouble at football matches and clubs have been known to ban people who have been in trouble with the police even if courts have not pursued them. I am guessing that even if fans were innocent, public opinion may have largely been on the side of clubs. Most fans would also have trouble legally challenging the decision, just because a club claims a legal right it does not make it so. It may be similar to Stonewall law where organizations bellow out their version of law hoping to bully people into submission. The author talks of clubs sending 'Football Banning Orders' to individuals, a club can ban people but this is a legal term for people banned from grounds. It may be dismissed as linguistic flourish but an example of how those with access to lawyers can bully those who do not.

Luckily Linzi has access to very good lawyers, lets hope she succeeds.

Is surveillance like this even legal? It does not seem like it should be.

Yes it is. The PL and clubs have advanced surveillance capabilities designed originally to identify and disrupt hooligans and racists. They work closely with the police in doing so and in effect the police outsource the investigation work on organised football-related violence and associated extreme rightwing and white supremacist groups (Combat 18 etc), in much the same way that they outsource investigation into animal cruelty cases to the RSPCA.
