Oh, also meant to say that I looked at a few pages of the Debbie Hayton thread linked earlier on, and was amazed that while I was building my woke Twitter following 5 years ago, MN posters already knew all this stuff. It’s new(ish) to me, and old hat to them/you.

I come at things from a completely different angle.

Ministry of Justice has confirmed that women in prison are expected to use ‘correct’ pronouns and may be punished for refusing to comply. In a reply to a written question asked by Lord Philip Hunt, Lord Wolfson explained that it is only where a woman makes ‘an honest mistake’ in using ‘incorrect pronouns’ that she can be assured that she will not suffer a penalty

Women are treated so kindly in prison that I cannot believe they would suffer any significant "punishment" for misgendering someone, other than being asked to spend a short while living in separate conditions from other residents.

Hmm, Alpha is fine with women frightened of sex offenders being put in solitary confinement if they don't call he her. Because we all know that solitary confinement doesn't cause great psychological damage - right, kids?

There is no such thing as "solitary confinement" in women's prisons. Instead they have Care and Separation units where women who need to be isolated for short periods of time receive the necessary attention to their needs.

We're talking about an entirely different universe here to male prisons.

It's good for everyone to see exactly what kind of person Alpha is, seeing as there has been some dispute about it.

Interesting that AlphaGolfPapa is now mansplaining about what women's prisons are like. How would he have obtained this in depth knowledge of conditions in women's prisons? Is he actually Isla Bryson or Karen White?

But since he has previously told us that women are all delicate submissive flowers who couldn't possibly commit crimes, it must follow that women's prisons don't actually exist.

They shouldn't exist, for sure. But in the meantime, I am glad that they are caring and supportive places for women to heal.

When did you spend time in a women's prison Alpha? What was your crime?

Virtually all of the small number of women who commit serious crimes do so for one of three reasons:

Firstly, they are coerced into committing crimes by a man;

Secondly, they are suffering from psychological harm inflicted on them by a man;

Thirdly, they are addicted to illegal drugs, sold to them by a man.

There is a common factor here, which should be fairly obvious.

This is why the aim of the criminal justice system should be to remove such women from the common factor that is causing them harm, to enable them to recover.

I have never had that experience, although I have given much thought over the years as to what it might be like.

No solitary confinement, I see. Just locking them up alone and calling it something else. Righto.

Yep, I saw KJK at a LWS event, she can hold a crowd. It’s a shame I couldn’t hear her. Because of all the TRAs banging drums and blowing whistles and shouting.
i really wish I’d been to her last one in Hyde park with an autograph book, Helen Joyce and Maya Forstatet were there as well.
