Disciplinary Hearing PC Watson

I came on FWR to read posters thoughts on the disciplinary hearing happening today, but can,t find a thread. Sorry if there is one already.

From what I am reading, the defence for the alleged online harassment and stalking of those with GC views is that 1) those being harassed are 'terrorists' 2) It was a senior ranking Sargent who advised PC Watson to set up a sock account to cover PC Watson's tracks.

It seems a no brainier for the officer to be dismissed and, if there is evidence to support claims of the 'sock puppet' advice, for there to be a hearing for the Sargent also.

I am not sure how PC Watson's tran status will provide any reasonable defence....but that doesn't mean reason will prevail!

It's quite interesting in terms of the histories of serious sex offenders and abusers how much they like uniforms, positions of power, have often tried to get into the army and police, or scout and other children's groups, yada yada.

But apparently society's decided that remembering all this hard learned information is 'unkind' to the offender. And that the people hurt in the name of being lovely to offenders don't matter. Unless of course they're causing really difficult and bad publicity for important people, in which case knee jerk panic reaction incoming in three....two.... one....

The Sergeant may well have said nothing of either sort. Given how much this bloke has lied in the past when he didn't need to, I would give no credit to anything he says when trying to excuse his criminal behaviour.

Sorry - I said he hadn't been arrested - he was. But the police then let time run out to charge him, six month time limit. So I am really pleased that he was sacked on Friday. You might be interested in the complaint he made about me in June 2023 - with impeccable timing I was told it had been dismissed on Friday.

Remember - when he wrote this he was a serving police officer

The screenshot of Watson's complaint is a bit blurry. But a bit I did read, he claims you using the word 'ideology' left him nauseous and shaking for several hours!? Really? Probably just as well he's out of the force.

Yes, 'ideology' is the most hateful and dehumanising word ever and I wouldn't be allowed to refer to black or Jewish people as an ideology (er they are not?!) and I dismissed his very existence as a 'whimsy' and he was shaking and nauseated for hours etc etc

Remember that this man had the power to arrest and detain you. He is clearly very unwell and I wonder how long he was been in this fragile and dangerous state as a serving officer. Well done Harry for standing firm.

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole and paid 99p to access www.misconduct999.com and it is a genuinely terrifying read. Some of the police officers pending criminal trial are utterly sickening. I don’t know what the answer is but something is very, very rotten in UK policing.

Yes, there’s a low bar for dismissal but dozens and dozens of these officers are abusing their power every day and that is absolutely not victimless. It’s disgusting. And nothing I’ve seen on here from our village idiot makes me think anything different.

Of course, you used 'ideology' because that's what you were talking about. The word is accurate. It's not your fault if, say, some little narcissist (with a taste for hyperbole) thought he was as much the centre of your thoughts as he is of his own.

It was a bit of a struggle to read, for some reason it's blurry on my device. But I'm glad I did. Funniest thing I've read for ages. Although sobering to think it was ever taken seriously.

Reading the judges comments on how the Police are meant to behave, to me, just begs the question why is it just Watson in the dock?
