Breast cancer isn't a sex specific cancer, but it is a sex-disproportionate cancer (with a rough figure that 1 in 100 breast cancers being in men, 99 in 100 being in women).

Trans talk becomes muddily because the assumption (and perhaps some posters here) is that when we talk about men getting breast cancer it is assumed we mean "trans men" (females), like "men getting pregnant" actually being females getting pregnant.

I think it is fine to target women with breast cancer campaigns, but acknowledge that some men also get it. I'm sure campaigns like Breast Cancer Awareness had photos of breast cancer survivors and have featured one or two men along with many many more women.

More worrying on ITV London news was about a man who had breast cancer and the pharmacist didn't want to give him the medication because he said only women got it. Medical professionals should know better.
