She is a legend of our time for all women. She spoke about the rape crisis centre she has funded and many other things.

” Jane Fae “ is the name of that trans woman who likes to knit

EmpressaurusOfCats · 17/10/2023 22:11

Previously known as John Ozimek, supporter of extreme porn.

Waitwhat23 · 17/10/2023 22:49

Had to remind myself but ah yes, Jane 'eggshell skulls' Fae. Ex IT and heavily into extreme porn.

Pleasant chap.

Sorry, Jane Fae clip was a tangent. I just enjoy watching it.

Though now I've even less idea how there were complaints! As a straight woman I didn't get in a bad mood that there were events for lesbians I couldn't attend, and there were some for young women too which excluded me as well.

How did they check that all the women attending the lesbian only events were lesbians?

Was there some kind of vetting process?

Or did they just trust women who are not lesbians to stay out of lesbian only events?

It was a wonderful tangent 😄

Am not sure why we’re talking about complaints? Don’t think there were any from FiLia attendees. Just from the dorks outside.

Personally, I would rather men weren’t allowed in at all, but do understand that some sisters need a male carer to access the event. And as for the other - it’s so wonderful to be in a place where you are confident in knowing that straight women like me wouldn’t dream of going to a lesbian only session, however much I wanted to fangirl over the presenters.

The main conference is open to men. Usually a few attend. Some women running workshops eg ones for lesbians or about FGM or sexual assault specify women only. The party is women only.

It all works on mutual trust and respect for others' boundaries.

Completely agree - we’re women and respect one another’s boundaries. I also would not have dreamt of trying to attend the lesbian and bisexual sessions.
