I'm a historian at Oxford University and together with Alice Sullivan, Sociology Prof at UCL, I'm co-editor of Sex and Gender: A Contemporary Reader which is published today! All our authors take a gender-critical perspective on debates within the sciences, social sciences and humanities with chapters on sport, criminology and history among others. Excellent thank you - but your publisher's website is very firmly TRA. Your hyperlink just takes me to the home page and even when I search by your actual title I just get a list of books I really wouldn't want to read. Better have a quiet word with Routledge

Not worried about publishers publishing a range of material Monty, am worried that even searching for this specific title I don't get it but I do get (apparently) 37,000 other options which would take quite a while to wade through. Congratulations on the book, @SelinaTodd. I got the same result as @HagoftheNorth when I typed your name into the search box on the publishers' website. I got to the book when I typed the full title in. It's still very expensive for me, though, so I'll wait till payday before ordering.

I'm on the app and it brought me straight to the book.

Fair enough! But for some reason the hyperlink is bringing me to the book directly on the app. I see that's not happening for others!

I also got the same result as @HagoftheNorth when I typed Selina's name into the search box, but when I scrolled down, Sex and Gender: A Contemporary Reader appeared in the next row of four titles (along with Sondheim and Wheeler's Sweeney Todd!) I was searching on a desktop rather than an iPad though.

I just tried searching for the book by title on my phone and that worked, too, with a bit of scrolling. If anyone gets thousands of results, filtering the search by publication date should bring the book edited by Alice and Selina to the top.

If anyone's thinking of buying a copy, the code that Selina provided generates a 20% discount.

The op's link took me to the main page, cutting and pasting the title brought the book as the 4th result. I can't afford it at the moment unfortunately, even with the code. But birthday in a couple of months.
