Not quite sure what is going on here but it would seem from WeAreFairCop that something that never happens may well be

The Awesometistic website and Twitter/X page have been taken down.

I can't help but feel sorry for the individual highlighted in the tweet as they appear to have serious mental health problems.

Having said that, there is no way they should be anywhere near vulnerable kids.

Or non vulnerable kids.

Why do we have to give the prefix 'vulnerable' for basic safeguarding to be a consideration?

No kids should have a man with an adult baby fetish in school.

Absolutely. My kids aren't "vulnerable" (beyond being, you know, children) but I'd give myself a bleach enema before I let them spend an hour in the company of that perv.

RealityFan · 20/08/2023 14:32

Men IDing as babies, in schools, with infinitely more protection than the kids in those schools.

An activist man cosplaying at breastfeeding, supported to the hilt by the professional left.

A male teacher wearing XXX cup bra, pupils and colleagues prevented from saying anything.

Physical and verbal violence a regular occurrence when women meet.

A male suggesting to a woman (whom never met before) that they could share a cubicle.

A gay luvvie type making $millions playacting at being a woman.

Men online saying there are safe glitter surrogate familieies to join if they want to leave their parents.

Women forced to be naked in front of men with erections prior to competitive sports races.

I mean, I'm detecting a pattern here. Two actually, the second worse than the first.

The first is pure misogyny and male gaze/expectancy. Has always been, will always be.

The second is worse. Upon the whims of people who's ID have less scientific basis than astrology and homeopathy, uncivil society has facilitated such behaviour, given it the green light, fully justified it.

Both ignoring naturally selected evolved instincts for danger and disgust. To somehow socially engineer a situation that can never exist...to 100% guaranteed cream off a contingent of men who claim they're women, with none of the aggression, sexual intent, deviousness etc that has been a trait of men since Adam convinced Eve to munch on that apple.

Millions of years of sex evolution, thousands of years of social conditioning, to be jettisoned and overrided in a time period that is but a mere microsecond in the span of humanity.

It can't be done, even if the circumstances were less toxic (an alternate universe where men didn't impose themselves in women's spaces, just wanted to be addressed as women in third spaces).

Thingybob · 20/08/2023 15:28

I wrote 'vulnerable' as in the original tweet he said had been working one to one with autistic kids but yes I agree he is not the sort of person who should be working with any children or vulnerable adults.

The police now seem to be basing who they charge on unsubstantiated reports posted online by trans safety network

A none crime hate incident has been recorded against@HarryTheOwl101

Oh my gosh. That is a disturbing article. He called the police on parents who objected to him. The parents suggest he is mimicking behaviours of autistic children.

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 07:22

I'm really struggling to get my head around how a company/ man who supposedly "helps" children with autism
(And I can't work out how and what he does there) was so incredibly nasty to parents of children with autism who questioned his expertise.

To do 1:1's in schools you really do have to have a high level of professional knowledge in a particular area. It's really unusual because it's 1. Costly and 2. Has to be very targeted. Usually physiotherapy, speech and language support, occupational therapy, drawing and talking etc. often in my experience the therapist isn't on their own, sometimes a pair, part of a team.

You also work with parents and gain consent.

How was this individual given green lights by head teachers? where would this would fit into IEPs and ECHPs? what was the cost benefit is? I've never seen a sports car being part of an IEP.

I couldn't read his response to these parents in 2020 posted on the company page so I c+p into notes:

"Ok listen § everyone please (decided to close Awesometistic) due to horrible two ladies sad thing is these have autistic children.

Yer right am deffently not closing at all.

Two ladies (horrible jealous people, personal this and if you k ow me really then you know I won't let this lye. ) tired to stop me doing what I do today coming into stores where I book signing telling them I don't have autism and giving them a letter to try and stop be helping children.

Thankful the stores seen through these horrible people with not this letter it would say that how can I be autistic now when I wasn't for the last 34 years.

By the way the police have been
called and cctv is coming. Well guess what ladies you can't stop me Cos am awesome and you perhaps should by my book. Might learn a few things. Also it stated
that autism is not ok.

This was very upsetting to be confronted with but guess what it's had no impact what so ever Cos I had a awesome day as always and also thank you for making me stronger Cos this is why I am doing what I do. If anyone Elsa received anything from these two ladies one with glasses on. There are 2500 people on my page that will
surely have a few words to say to you. Very upset and heart broken. But only 0.01% of my 2567 people who love and support me.

This is why I carry my Diagnosi around every day.

Will make a good book tho "

"If you know me really you know I won't let this lye"

Police and cctv

Looking at the date (feb 2020) it seems likely that went completely under the radar due to the pandemic. Not an excuse.

Then, as twitter does, a faintly negative comment about the company/ man pops up on twitter, using his own images, and bingo - police email.

And he's "trained" the police.

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 07:26

He knows these women have autistic children and yet he responds with that ragey abusive rant?

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 07:38

"Also it stated that autism is not ok."

And they've given details as to why it can be incredibly challenging for individuals and their families.

Independent living is likely to be unachievable for some of the children he's in contact with.

How is a sports car and slogans helping?

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 07:43

I had to zoom in to read the letter; I recommend people read the views that these parents had and tried to communicate.

AnSolas · 23/08/2023 07:54

@WarriorN think charity and free imagine a school looking for local support and a local organisation offering services for low or no cost.
The police will have run checks and passed the staff on the data they have.
The police will also have been trained on issues which may arise with members of the group. Their HR have ticked a box around "disability training"
So the charity gets a clean bill of health and the head / school are happy to have a positive role model.

At the shop police reaction would be covered under stopping a breach of the peace and can be seen as reasonable.

But any normal person should be asking themselves if the adult whos behaviours have now become public should be in contact with children. Not sending unprofessional letters to people for noncrimes. I do get the problem that the police end up doing social work trying to prevent crimes but the officer involved needed to take a step back as ask himself what is private if that stuff is public

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 07:55

It's not even a charity, it's a CIC

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 08:03

I also don't think voluntary 1:1 work is allowed from my experience in a school setting. It must have been charged.

Volunteers can come into the class with teachers present at all times

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 08:06

Obviously parent readers can so one would hope and expect the same safeguarding rules were applied; not actually 1:1 and never in a confined space

Cropout · 23/08/2023 08:35

Ugh this just makes my skin crawl. It’s all so fucked up.

Maerchentante · 23/08/2023 09:21

The red flags are visible from space, yet the person pointing those out gets threats from the police.

I don't understand this at all. He was apparently functioning well enough to get a degree in engineering, didn't get an autism diagnosis until quite late in life, is doubly incontinent (since when and why - is it another health thing, if it's not recent how did he not get any diagnosis until quite late), wtf have sports cars to do with anything (they give me 'come and see my puppies vibes'), finally where are the sane adults in this!! Has everyone (with a few noble exceptions) lost their fucking minds!?

ZeldaFighter · 23/08/2023 13:13

Can this be reported to the local Social Services as a safeguarding issue? Aren't they then obliged to investigate?

Does this man have a valid DBS certificate?

Good point. Has someone with knowledge of his visits to schools & children formally referred him to the NSPCC & his local Social Services? Along with contacting the LADO?
A paper trail is important in cases like this.

ZeldaFighter · 23/08/2023 13:19

Awesometistic are not listed on the Charity Commission website, so are not a registered, supervised charity.

WarriorN · 23/08/2023 13:51

IcakethereforeIam · 23/08/2023 13:55

Is that pronounced the same as 'kink'?
