Just to clarify here that the egalitarian movement I refer to is the enlightenment— and in current days the corollary would be women’s liberation, civil rights, gay rights (with the misogyny of TRAs being the witch burning).

Interesting. My cousin is in Sunderland and just announced her hair salon will now have gender neutral pricing (whatever that might be) and you can let them know your pronouns when booking.

I had assumed a solitary trans customer had turned up but she does like a cause (the salon is also vegan and something else worthy I can’t remember now) so maybe shes just had a pride hit.

Dino I always wonder how these salons work out the prices. Does everyone, including all the blokes, pay women's prices? If so, is it just males with special identities who find paying more for stuff validating? Or does everyone pay an average? I'm certain they won't be charging everyone at cheaper men's prices.

It does seem a fair idea at first glance. In reality, I have such dense, difficult hair it takes hours to cut and dry. I think their hearts would sink when I walked through the door.

I liked Nadia (as a lot of people did), but I don't think it would be unfair to suggest there is a fair bit of hyperbole with that one. Not exactly the calmest, most level headed individual. I'm sure this will have hurt Davina, though.

I always chuckle when the identarian Left and mainstream "intelligensia" tell Leave voters that they were bamboozled by lies, suckered by false promises, happy to be fooled.

And they are guilty of the same hubris, in many ways on a wider scale.

I even blame them for greater failings. They are the artists, writers, historians, politicians, economists, doctors etc who's average IQ dwarfs the mere citizen out tilling the fields and laying the bricks.

I get my split ends done at a hairdresser and the price is the same. Barbers don't know how to do it.

It’s absolutely batshit how people are “going for” someone just for commenting about a podcast being balanced. It doesn’t surprise me anymore but it’s still crazy isn’t it.

Re workout videos, I loved her pre/post natal ones, had them on DVD. So much friendlier than a lot of celebrity/fitness expert type workouts which I usually find quite intimidating (because I’m not fit!)
