Katie Dolatowski Released??

I saw someone on Twitter say that Katie Dolatowski his been released from Corton Vale.

Does anyone know if this is true? I did an online search and found an article from mid-Jan which May back this up but it’s behind a paywall.

Yes it was reported in the Courier. Also mentioned on Wings Over Scotland wingsoverscotland.com/dont-you-think-she-looks-tired/
Even more astonishingly, Dolatowski is now at liberty, because the Scottish judicial system under Cabinet Secretary Keith Brown appears to have simply thrown up its hands and decided it can’t contain him, and that what’s instead required is to “[build his] motivation and capacity for positive change”

I'm d ont think they wanted to have to deal with him harming someone in the female estate because it might look bad.

I starting to think we don’t know the full extent of Dolatowski’s record.

There is a comment on Reddit regarding a suspended sentence for an images of child sex abuse conviction (which would make sense as I doubt anyone starts off stalking little girls around supermarket loos as a first offence, you’d generally see an escalation up to that).

Of course, ‘Katie’ clearly isn’t a birth name so ‘Dolatowski’ might not be an original name either. It’s always interesting to observe that trans sex offenders often change both names, despite it being relatively uncommon amongst trans people as a whole.

Plus KD is still so young that there could easily be multiple prior offences that were reported as ‘teenager who cannot be named’ to KD being a minor at the time of the offence.

Yes, he has been. It’s the Scottish government’s new strategy to avoid the issue of sex offenders in women’s prisons- just release them to offend again. He’s also the fella who talked his way into a women’s aid refuge in Leeds using fake ID.

Saw a comment from a woman on Facebook saying she used to live in the same Women’s homeless shelter as him in Scotland.

Bet he’s been released to some similar Women’s facility this time around as well.

'Sheriff Alison Michie imposed a structured deferred sentence

According to the Scottish Government, structured deferred sentences should be “relatively short periods of focused intervention with the specific objectives of meeting an individual’s assessed criminogenic and non-criminogenic needs and building their motivation and capacity for positive change”.

The sheriff said according to a social background report, there were “grave concerns” about Dolatowski’s ability to comply with any statutory supervision.
Dolatowski is now in Cornton Vale women’s prison.

But she said: “The options are extremely limited and she appears with a very lengthy record but this particular offence occurred nearly three years ago now.”'

'She ordered Dolatowski to appear in court again for a review hearing on March 16 and warned: “If you are failing to comply, it may be that you will be returned to custody.

“Your record certainly would merit that.”'

Yes, and I don't think he's likely to be released any time soon. Mind you, they seem to be running a sequence of 'too violent for men's prison' > 'women's prison' > released because they don't know what to do with him.

I am not naive by any stretch of imagination, sadly that was taken from me when I was a child, however it is truly terrifying having an inkling as to what and who is really out there. The lengths that KD will go to. A very frightening character. KD is very dangerous and should be locked up in the male estate.

Because of Sturgeon’s obsessive determination to push the GRR through against the overwhelming wishes of the Scottish publicc*, attention has also been drawn to cases like that of Katie Dolatowski, the 6’5″ paedophile who incredibly was recently moved to Cornton Vale because he was too violent for the male prison at Polmont.

This is horrific. Smacks of 'Too violent for the male prison but, never mind, stick him with the women. Fuck what happens to them, he's not our problem any more'. 🤬

The wording today from the Scots Government has been very very careful.

'No transwoman CONVICTED of sexual crimes against women is CURRENTLY in the women's prison estate'

Dolatowski has been released
Paris Green was convicted of torturing and killing a man, then went on to 'have sex' with several women in cornton vale women's prison so was moved to the female wing of HMP Edinburgh.
Sophie Eastwood was convicted of strangling her male cellmate with shoelaces. Sophie's been moved around various women's prison wings since 2018. I believe currently Polmont.

So Dolatowski doesn't count as not Currently in prison, and the others while violent and still retaining male genitals were not convicted of hurting women, just violently killing men, so you know, all good!
