"THE UK Equalities Minister will use a dramatic eleventh-hour intervention ahead of the Scottish parliament’s gender reform vote to implore the SNP to delay the changes.

Kemi Badenoch will meet Shona Robison, an ally of Nicola Sturgeon and the person steering the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill through parliament, tomorrow – only 24 hours before final talks on the divisive law begin.

It is understood Ms Badenoch will call on the Scottish Government to explain how it has reached the conclusion that allowing people to self-identify as a different gender is the right path for Scotland, its people and the rest of the UK.

A Government source said: ‘Kemi wants to understand what their evidence is. It’s an attempt to urge them to take heed of warnings about the Bill, to rethink age limits and ensure there has been enough safeguarding.’"

‘No debate.’ Masked trans activists preventing women from meeting to discuss proposed changes in government legislation. People like Kezia simply refusing to listen to alternative opinions because they only want to do favours for their lovely trans pals.

Tragically for women and children in Scotland, it’s likely to get pushed through and I hope it costs every MSP who votes for this bill their seat at the next election. Allowing any sex offender to obtain a GRC and a false birth certificate? What kind of man or woman prioritises the feelings of sex offenders over the safety, privacy and dignity of women and children? Absolutely shameful.

Most of us know it’s not possible for people to actually change sex. No matter how much they want to, no matter how many of their friends and family lie to them, no matter how much plastic surgery they get, no matter the drugs they take, no matter the clothes they wear, no matter the false official documents they get.

Shona's list of what living as a woman means includes being referred to by others as a woman. Shouldn't we check if those others actually believe what they are saying because odds on they are just being 'kind'. Or frightened of being hauled over the coals for misgendering.

It is all fantasy.

Kezia Dugdale's article perfectly demonstrates the outcome of "no debate". After years of simply refusing to engage in debate, the pro self -ID lobby simply has no conception of what the counterarguments are. "No debate" has worked.

if someone falsely applies for a GRC they could be imprisoned for 5 years…I wonder where that would be? Also they say the system is working well re sex offender notifications. Really? With K D and the number of men detransitioning after their stay in a womens prison? How can this possibly be true. And yes , that is why we have to adhere to the pronoun law. I really think we should not do it.

The "falsely applies" thing is - IMO - a distraction. How do you prove that someone "falsely applied" for a GRC? How will you show a standard of proof that demonstrates what their intentions were?

You can't.

This is . He still has his "family jewels" but insists he is a woman, in fact he claims that because he has sex with his girlfriend that makes him a lesbian. He is the sort of person that will be entitled to sit in the ladies changing rooms while we are all undressing at the gym/swimming etc.

A TW is a woman if they say they are a woman.

There is no special feeling or actual activity you need to do to change sex in Scotland once this law has passed. You just need to fill in a form and wait 3 months. Do you even need to prove you are 'living as a woman' - what even is that in the 1st place.

What's the difference between a 50 year old male who gets sexual pleasure from being in a ladies changing room, and another 50 year old who gets sexual pleasure from being in a ladies changing room but goes on to commit a rape.

Both are predatory in my opinion. Both may have the same internalised feelings of wanting to be a woman

I get so annoyed when they say there is no risk from Transwoman and the risk is predatory men. Transwoman are the predatory men - entering female facilities is a predatory act. Most will not progress to committing a crime which they can be charged for - doesn't mean their behaviour is not predatory though.

Dugdale is either really as stupid as she appears to be, or she is getting prepared for a cushy life as part of the Scottish nomenklatura and to hell with poor, vulnerable women.
