Robust discussion for all!
not that discussion.

Truth.

I was reading the thread with interest last night, till it went poof. I was baffled by the explanation from MN as to why - it just didn’t make sense.

If MN delete a thread people have put time and effort into reading and commenting on because they’re ’not sure it’s helping anyone’ and Mnetters message them to say actually they did find it helpful, it should be reinstated, right?

I’d also be interested in seeing the criteria the mods use to determine if they should become ‘unsure’ if a thread is helpful.

That's horrendous.
How did we get to this place where children's education and development is diverted so blatantly to serve a niche paraphilia?
If anyone had said a few years back that encouraging small boys to wear drag or young girls to take testosterone would be a thing, most of us (including a good number of people with gender dysphoria, no doubt) would have been totally horrified.

They did say it. And we were horrified. But a few years ago absolutely no-one would allow any discussion on this subject. No media would report it, not even when whistleblowers at the Tavistock GIDS clinic tried to speak out, instant bans on social media for individuals who questioned it.

MN was about the only place we could speak and it was heavily moderated. TRAs tried to get MN shut down, targeted advertisers and doxxed Justine. They fought so hard to keep it secret but it's all out there now and, thankfully, little by little the ideology is being challenged.

@WallaceinAnderland thank goodness

I would very much like to discuss why women should be in trouble for voicing our concerns. Certainly we should know our rights and the law..

There's someone posting on Ovarit saying her thread last night was deleted and her account was banned without any warning or explanation.

I won't link her thread because it wasn't posted on a public part of Ovarit, but the thread was called "Changing the Conversation."

Getting the strong impression that whoever was modding last night should have their keys taken away.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 13/11/2022 23:27

Sorry - to be clear, the Ovarit person had posted a thread here on this part of Mumsnet, which resulted in her account being banned without warning.

Haven't heard of Ovarit. Will Google
