It was only a matter of time before this happened.

Blistering piece written by William Ferguson

Call it what it is. Trans activists gay bashed a gay rights activist.

This!

KittenKong · 20/09/2022 12:33

i think Fred was a police officer. Fox is… lord knows but they and their pal (otter?) came in to DS school for a talk. 😡

One of the trans writers who seemed to think Hatchette would dump JKR if they threatened to walk, if I recall. Didn't get their own way on that one, surprisingly.

This!

100% this.

Its like being back in the 1960s.

Disgustingly regressive movement that this gender ideology is.

Abso fucking lutely.

Reinforcement of gender stereotypes, gay bashing - where does this shit end?

miri1985 · 21/09/2022 03:24

The DM posted an article with very clear face shots of the cowards who attacked him, hopefully Fred Sargeant gets justice www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11231895/Veteran-gay-rights-protester-74-1969-Stonewall-Riots-attacked-pro-trans-mob.html

landOFconfusion · 21/09/2022 07:16

All of the participants in this confrontation are despicable.

If you go to a Pride event with a protest placard that tells event participants that they shouldn’t feel pride in their identity then you’re a real life troll who wants to provoke confrontation.

And similarly if you feel moved to violence by a weak and pathetic old man with a placard then you’ve got no sense of restraint or self-control.

KittenKong · 21/09/2022 07:28

Rubbish.

Fred has concerns - rightful concerns of the Qing of the gay rights movements. He was at the stonewall riots and is not being told be kids young enough to be his grandchildren that a trans woman rode up on her white charger with and assembly of angles and smote the fascist police.

these kiddos have nothing to fight for (they have rights) so are fighting against women. I’d hazard a guess that a fair chunk aren’t gay/Bi and another chunk are just football hooligan types looking for a lunch up.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 21/09/2022 07:34

I thought "Pride was a protest"? Rather than the corporate sponsored hugbox it's become. Are gay men allowed to be proud that they are only attracted to their own sex?

KittenKong · 21/09/2022 07:47

No. Especially if they are - shudder - elderly.

but he did stop one twerp arguing when he told him that he wasn’t exactly catch of the day (he was wearing a fishnet top).

Abhannmor · 21/09/2022 09:13

Insulting rubbish at that. As one of the 4 people who organised the first Pride march in 1970 he is perfectly entitled to peacefully protest its hijacking by straight men - and women - with their own agenda.

Abhannmor · 21/09/2022 09:23

Ps There is nothing ' pathetic ' about Fred Sargeant. He still has his cognitive faculties and knows exactly what happened at Stonewall in 1969. Which is why the gender extremists hate him of course.
We are FB friends and he has a great sense of humour.

Without Fred, there wouldn't be an event.

And there's nothing pathetic about him. Your ageism is showing.

ChagSameachDoreen · 21/09/2022 11:36

Red Guard behaviour.

Needmoresleep · 21/09/2022 11:54

Fox Fisher, and her partner Owl (TW and TM) has a long history of activism.

Here is one highlight
www.standard.co.uk/culture/books/owl-and-fox-fisher-j-k-rowling-interview-a4481236.html

There is an unintentionally funny documentary somewhere made about four years ago about their campaigning. Worth a watch as it is difficult then to take them seriously.

AgnestaVipers · 21/09/2022 13:04

Just to be clear, @landOFconfusion , are you saying the founder of the first ever gay pride march has no right to go to a Pride parade?

Or that he does, but only so long as he participates in the groupthink?

I could go for a lunch up. Bit like afternoon tea, I reckon, but more lunch like.

Autocorrect is spectacularly intrusive at the moment.

Can't beat a bit of knuckle sandwich. I had a mate who supported Chelsea who told me " I only used to go for the fights '.

Guessing some of the young tras are similarly motivated.

It's a BBC documentary about trans rights activism.

BitossiBlues · 21/09/2022 16:28

This is Fred's first hand account of what happened to him when he was attacked by the TRAs at Pride. He's speaking on the Disaffected podcast. The podcast is run by commentator, Josh Slocombe, who is also a Vermont resident and part of the gay community there; and who is constantly trying to hold the authorities in Vermont to account while they pedal TRA bullshit in schools, hospitals, law enforcement and local government.

Abhannmor · 21/09/2022 18:07

Thanks @BitossiBlues . But how depressing it all is.

BitossiBlues · 21/09/2022 18:33

Depressing is the word. I have serious doubts of the Vermont police authorities doing anything about the assaults on Fred. That state is seriously fucked up.

Aroundtheriverbend · 23/09/2022 20:08

Glinner has just completed a short interview with Fred, if anyone is interested:

endofthelinefinally · 23/09/2022 20:16

Glinner's interview with Fred is really moving. Such violence and disrespect to a brave man is just shocking. It is a very good interview and well worth watching. The idiots who repeatedly hit Fred over the head could easily have killed him.

TheBiologyStupid · 23/09/2022 21:22

I searched the Stonewall website for Fred 's name earlier today. Absolutely zilch - no surprise.
