Lesbian Strength march in Leeds - cancelled over safety fears

Rally still ongoing, I believe. But it seems that police couldn't guarantee the safety of the march, after trans-rights activists and Leeds Antifascist Network staged a counter protest, so it had to be cancelled.

Solidarity and support to all of those marching.

This was discussed in another thread- nothing to do with them being lesbian and nothing to do with their views. They hadn't registered to march and were obstructing the people who were marching, police told them to move aside to let everyone pass, which they agreed to.

Since when do you have to register? Are you telling me that nobody can spontaneously join a march at any time? Is everyone headcounted and hand stamped?
