Well well. Now when is that FOI reply due or will they be able to wriggle out of it on grounds the appointment has been retracted?

I wonder what job Jason will get offered instead?
Has he been on annual leave all this month? How much compensation is one entitled to if a job offer is withdrawn in this way?

Maybe the annual leave payment is the compensation? I mean, it’s not like he worked to accrue the leave in the first place….

Dundee city council apparently knew nothing about the interview process apart from providing one officer from the council to the interview panel. 🙄

you seem very keen to get men involved in menstruation. You argue passionately that a man might be best qualified for this ( now abolished) role, in spite of the clear preference by women in every survey, on every board and forum that this is should be a female to female communication. You argue passionately that men should be allowed to ‘pick up’ sanitary products , presumably on behalf of women, though that would involve another layer of administration to cut out fraud; no administration could prevent this being a weapon in coercive control.

I must admit to being baffled why you think that an exclusively feminine condition should involve men. It’s odd.

Lol at that answer to the FOI. They are skirting round giving it out, because they have no info, due to it being a blatant bit of keeping it in with your mates. They’ve cancelled the role, not because of pressure, but because their shoddy and highly dodgy recruitment process has been rumbled.

I bet whoever hired him is in serious crap right now. Cancelled due to abuse is just a smokescreen and a decoy to get those with a bit between their teeth over this, to back off.

I am absolutely furious that the cancellation of this post has been smeared as 'abuse and threats'. Is there a way to demand to see this tsunami of threats, which were so apparently serious that the entire post has been rescinded? Can that also come under an FoI request, i.e. asking how they 'risk assessed' the continuation of the position and then reached this decision?

Also, have any journos picked the story up apart from the 'threats' line spouted by the BBC and Guardian, does anyone know?

If these threats are happening, let's see them and we'll all join in with condemning them as utterly inappropriate and not in the name of women's rights.
