Woman's Hour listener week

Over on twitter, woman's Hour have announced listener week and asked for ideas for topics we would like to see covered on the show.

Literally hundreds of answers all saying the same thing.....

twitter.com/BBCWomansHour/status/1551454702235226113?t=IX4QfNAv6P-0dPPPqQtT9Q&s=19

Top of the list seem to be Helen Joyce, maya Forstater, Allison Bailey, Kelly Jay keen, sharron Davis and of course jk Rowling.

Stephanie Davies arai, Watson, bev and Kate from the LGBA..... a positive roll call.

Unanimously, all the replies are calling for gender critical guests.

Now, I cannot imagine for one second that the person running the BBC woman's Hour twitter account would not have foreseen this. I wonder if this is a tactic, so they can go bavk to whoever has the BBC in this headlock and say, look!!! All these women want to hear about this, we cannot ignore it!!!

Is that their topics so far? Bionic breasts and loss of pubic hair? Really?

KittenKong · 23/08/2022 16:46

Sounds like a load of 13 year olds lads wrote the program outline.

Tallisker · 23/08/2022 16:48

How do 13 year old lads know women lose pubic hair at menopause? I didn't know Grin

PeriodBro · 23/08/2022 16:48

Weak, Women's Hour. Weak.

FemaleAndLearning · 23/08/2022 21:31

What are bionic breasts? Is it something to make them look perky or are they like prosthetics?

ScrollingLeaves · 23/08/2022 22:13

I’d like them to look into how SEN children are being targeted by Mermaids meaning that vulnerable autistic girls and their parents are influenced to believe that having being transgender is a natural part of being autistic rather than a means of trying to cope with autism - doing this with impunity in spite of the Cass Report’s findings.

I don’t have Twitter, though.

lanadelgrey · 24/08/2022 10:31

Can’t listen today, but what are the topics?

Ramblingnamechanger · 24/08/2022 10:39

male violence. Translated by WH into general lawlessness. Ffs it is not women who are responsible. Twice EB had to mention that men are also victims. We know that. Male violence is the problem.

lanadelgrey · 24/08/2022 10:44

So nothing surprising or off the normal mix that might have been on the programme already?
Ooh I feel an email to that R4 complaints programme coming … But otoh, at some point earlier this year EB did a little aside about not being able to explore an issue - think it was sports but can’t remember which exact event prompted it - as people involved in one side wouldn’t come on to the programme

I’m almost certain that’s what this guy was thinking of.

Off topic, but thank you for directing me to Ovarit. I've just spent the last while looking through it, so nice to see a forum where women can speak openly about their fears around gender ideology, including agp.
