I realised this when they started requiring proof of covid vaccines for their shows (and still do afaik). "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me" lol. Should be called rage on behalf of the machine. Twunts.

Just to point out, I am pro choice and also against vaccine mandates just to participate in society. The latter is very much against what ratm used to stand for so its no surprise they have fallen for the erasure of women bullshit.

We seem to have been better able to resist the Twitter TRAnslaughts in the UK, thank goodness; but it’s an organised cultural assault in the US, and they target artists, agents, promoters and sponsors in well-drilled operations - and the stupid fuckers (pretend to) believe the activists because they claim to be of the left, and the right are the baddies.

Their most famous song - you know the one - is supposed to sound like a defiant stand against authority, but to me it always seemed like a whining teenager who didn't want to do the washing up. Shouting at mum (but only when she's out of earshot).

I've seen the live a couple of times. They were pretty good, but nobody seemed to see the irony of a thousand people all chanting along the same words about non-conformism. It's a bit like the bit from 'Life of Brian' where everyone says 'Yes, we are all individuals'.

Really got to wonder about how many seemingly intelligent people in all walks of life are just going along with this shit.

I mean I've only personally known about the escalating problem with changing language and undermining existing laws since 2018 (thanks to Man Friday threads on here), but so much more has been said about it every year since then. Anyone with critical thinking skills can surely do a bit of research and see the reality of the issues?

I've often come across people who are quite outspoken or 'try hard' in their non conformity, it's more like trying hard to be different. As opposed to <shrug> I'm not interested in that stuff just because you/society expects me to be.

I've never been especially conforming myself and I guess I do like that in a way, but I've had friends who actively rejected people or pastimes because it didn't fit the "I'm not like all of you" image they had of themselves. (Met them years later and they had got over that phase though :) )
