Yuck yuck yuck
I remember reading about him a few weeks ago. Dodgy as hell.

BootsAndRoots · 24/04/2022 10:49

It amazes me at the outrage over Boris and his birthday cake, yet this guy (and the long list of real criminal scandals he has been involved with) can get away with all of it and have sympathy just because he said he is trans, yet has no intention of doing anything about it.

OldCrone · 24/04/2022 10:52

Mr Wallis described how he had come to the realisation it was 'pretty foolish to live for other people'.
'No matter what they may say or what might happen and no matter who those people are, you can’t live your life for them,' he added.

I hope his wife and children are OK. He never mentions them in these interviews.

Yes. You say the magic T word and everything is forgiven. It’s like a special passport into a world where you can behave how you want.

Dear God, pimps, furries, paedophiles, getting paedophiles off, how many more of these men have got backgrounds like this???

I'm not sure I want to know the answer to that...

@DomesticatedZombie

I don't want to be in the sweepstake at all. Sad

Britain's first trans MP, blazing a trail. Stunning.

Actually, this is all depressing as fuck.

Isn't it.

It is like we're shouting in the wind about red flags on the safety of women and children.

It does have an air of 'I couldn't possibly be a nonce, I'm a woman' about it.

CandidaAlbicans2 · 24/04/2022 12:01

@FrancescaContini it does seem to be a get out of jail free card doesn't it, like the comment on Glinner's article:

“Jamie Wallis MP, you are charged with a number of serious offences. How do you wish to plead, guilty or not guilty?”

“I’m Trans your honour.”

This is an MP, a public servant, someone in parliament precisely to represent other people. If he thinks it is foolish to 'live for other people' then he should resign as an MP.

Loopytiles · 24/04/2022 12:05

WTF!

A lot of allegations in that article: hope the author and publisher has had good legal advice!

SpindleInTheWind · 24/04/2022 12:09

I'm still unsure what he's supposed to have come out as. Has he come out as a wrong 'un?

zanahoria · 24/04/2022 12:18

So the owner of Sugar Daddies is forsaking his altruistic lifestyle?

Mandodari · 24/04/2022 12:32

DomesticatedZombie · 05/04/2022 20:56

'A lot of people would be shocked if they knew what was on their computers and helpless to explain where it came from," he said.'

Dr Daryl Hamilton Wallis (Jamie Wallis' father)
Hmm

Article is from 2003, are they still working in this area of 'accidentally downloaded' images?

It's the digital equivalent of I slipped and landed on it.

Pennox · 24/04/2022 13:11

This grifter is going to be women on Sky Newsinna minute, talking about his trans journey.

MsFogi · 24/04/2022 13:16

Nope - this won't make the press, we will continue to have 'brave and beautiful' articles (particularly on the BBC website and in the Guardian) over the coming years as we all get to follow his 'amazing' transition.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 24/04/2022 13:31

Aside from the fact that he’s clearly not fit to be an MP, it is interesting that he talks about wanting to be ‘trans’ rather than wanting to be a ‘woman’.

I suspect that he is a deeply troubled man who will soon discover that ‘being trans’ is not a quick and easy route to happiness and contentment. He’s not about to embark on a journey to enlightenment but rather just another road to hell.

CompleteGinasaur · 24/04/2022 16:46

BBC News headline - "First Trans MP says part of him died after rape".

Happens to women every day and you'd be amazed how few articles there are about it..

If he was a woman MP he’d be accused of ‘weaponising his trauma’ when referring to his rape (much like JKR was after her essay).

StellaAndCrow · 24/04/2022 18:37

So apparently, according to the Daily Mail article he's "felt like this since being a very young child" yet is associated with companies that defend people accused of child pornography, and companies running sugar daddy websites?

Not a typical path for a woman . . .

StellaAndCrow · 24/04/2022 18:40

Oh and I forgot about the Thai Brides.

The article is somewhat disingenuous in suggesting the blackmail was about him being trans - because there would be less sympathy if it was about these other issues.

StellaAndCrow · 24/04/2022 18:43

As someone commented under one of the articles about him:

“Jamie Wallis MP, you are charged with a number of serious offences.
How do you wish to plead, guilty or not guilty?”

“I’m Trans your honour.”

That’s exactly what I thought.
I have genuine sympathy for anyone who has been raped but I’m willing to bet that there are dozens of female MPs who have been raped and never bring it up or mention it.

I think we can assume that the blackmail (which did state were about photographs) were probably of him wearing something that would be quite embarrassing, as soon as you say it's related to being trans then those photographs become sympathetic.

With this guy and his history, I simply do not believe a single thing he says. And with a guy with his size and heft I doubt some of the more serious scenarios too.

Could there be an add-on to that?
"...... And so look to be housed in the women's prison estate....."
??

NewBootsAndRanty · 28/04/2022 16:29

He's now been charged with failing to stop following a road traffic collision, failure to report a road traffic collision, driving without due care and attention and leaving a vehicle in a dangerous position. Due in court next month...
