Thanks for sharing, I needed something positive. This is refreshing to read. We need more politicians to speak out like this.

@newnamesa

Brilliant article. Women like Jackie Doyle Price are the reason I now vote Tory.
Me too. Never thought this would happen.

Thank you Ren for posting the share token. Thank you Jacqui Doyle-Price MP for writing this brilliant article. I feel emotional reading it. That’s an MP 100000% all over the issues and on top of her brief. Just all of it, she’s got it note perfect.

It makes me feel emotional because for years so many of us have been writing to our MPs on these issues and many of us getting no reply, or nothing sensible back. Yet we carry on writing to our MPs because its the right, democratic thing to do. And now look!. Here’s an MP not only whose done her homework extremely thoroughly but she’s saying it in public and writing it up in the Times, the paper of record. I honestly didn’t think I’d ever see it and it gives me a lot of hope. Flowers
I’m a Labour voter with nobody to vote for but I am extremely happy to see any MP sticking up for women and hope that many of her colleagues on all sides will follow her. How brilliant Glitterball

When you're trying to twist facts and observed reality to fit into a fantasy-based ideological position, it's hard to write clearly. The more clearly you wrote, the more clearly you would expose the nonsense you're trying to sell.

When you're telling the truth, and backing your argument with facts, it's natural to write clearly.

That's why Jackie Doyle-Price's article, like so many comments by the wise women of FWR, is an excellent example of clear thinking and clear writing.
