(My usual user name is TheSilveryPussycat.)

Can anyone enlighten me about this FB meme? When I asked the poster what it meant, I got the following reply:

It means ‘the kids are alrite’ haha yay!! So…the young people are using a crazy 80s ‘voice’ (he man) to ridicule homophobic and transphobic idiocy from same era : irony is loads but watch he man!!! The dead name referenceci think is best left for more experienced explanation than I: internet fab for this! Dead name I imagine is referring to name a person had before they were consciously living who they/we feel to bee! It’s a piss take out of eedjits tho, basically 🥰🥰✨✨

It doesn't seem to be aimed at anyone outside the gender theorists. In fact it seems to ridicule the rest of us, but in a way that we can't understand, only those "in the know."

Looking again.

And noting this thing to say was I think not a huge thing here even in the 70s etc.
Have heard a lot to do with USA.
Why? USA WAY more religious totally different to here.

The meme seems to say that when God created the earth etc in 7 days and put 2 humans male female. Snake, cast out.
Eve punished for apple so pain danger in childbirth (FFS). (Oh and she's totally responsible for it, not anything to do with sweet talking snake, or Adam who bit the bloody thing...)

That Eve was a trans man who went by Steve.

The Bible was a book that was written, added to, over a long period of time, by men.

From the time of the birth of Jesus (generally considered 2000 years ago).
In massively patriarchal societies.

Even taking creation was however many years ago, rather than... Other more mainstream understanding..).

The claim that Eve was a transman is... Bizarre.

The implication that was a thing from the dawn of humanity is.. eh?

And what's he man got to do with it?

Spare no further thought.

It's trying to say that he man is outspoken on trans issues and equates being... Sceptical... About sex being irrelevant as the same as homophobia.

The other meaning is that the creator is virtue signalling but isn't very... Hasn't done it at all well. Let's say.

"First came Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve", it was saying that the separate sexes were specifically created first for procreation and a dig against homosexuals.

It doesn't work with gender as gender is apparently fluid, so both people could be anything they chose at any point in time.

I am Adam, Prince of Eternia.

Steve became the mighty BattleCat!
