The only reason any of these idiots are even able to stand up ajd say " people is inclusive. People have periods" etc are only able to do so.because someone else has done the " dirty work " of explaining to women amd girls that they are women and girls ajd female "
This.
The question should be if you're talking about persons needing access to menstruation products, how do those persons know it applies to them?
In fact how does anyone know to whom it applies?
This is what really gets me, every time, that these people communicate purely on the basis that we all know what a woman is, whilst at the same time telling us we're not allowed to say so. And yet they have to assume our knowledge otherwise they couldn't communicate.
And you know, you absolutely know this is true, when they're all dumbfounded if you ask how does a person know if they've got a cervix? They're all spluttering incredulity at such a daft question.
Because of course you know - on the basis that you're female. A fact which they are simultaneously telling you you must not use.
I liked the way Nolan was pushing his podcast, too. He wants people to see the bigger picture. He realises that there will be outrage in eliminating words like mother, but he wants people to see how deliberate it is.
I wish he would join the extra dots. About it being inclusive. People will argue that it's only going to be inclusive to a tiny minority and therefore it shouldn't be happening.
But it's more than that. It's not about being inclusive to transmen, as we all know. It's about decoupling the word woman from her biology so that the word woman can be claimed by men.
Everything gone from start to finish, about this movement is benefiting men.
I can't be the only one who gets frustrated at the number of well-meaning men, who simply don't have the right spectacles, the feminist lens, to peer through to watch it all slot instantly into place in the way that feminists do.
