These people are the modern day equivalent of Catholic Church hiding and shielding sexually abusive priests to protect the reputation of their dogma.
Yes. It's becoming rapidly clear that the way this ideology compels people to cover up events, deny facts and punish dissidents is far more of a threat than individual transgressors.
It is arguable that this boy would have done what he did without any of the trans/gender ideology.
But it's the trans/gender stuff that's making the authorities cover for the attacker, not care for the girl that was attacked, punish her father for calling them out, lie about the incident, and potentially leave the boy free to attack again.
So, yes, as the TRAs say, bad people will always exist. But it's false when they say "if they do anything bad, we can deal with it". They won't. They feel compelled to lie and cover it up lest it make "trans people" look bad. Any crime that even vaguely intersects with their ideology - which basically means all male crime in supposedly-safe female spaces will be downplayed by them.
