When bringing up the subject of trans people, of course play on the people's sympathy by calling them "young and frightened". I didn't see anything young, frightened or even female about the obnoxious trans speaker who got an ovation at the Labour Conference....

Subsequent posts are querying the provenance of what I posted, which I understood was based on a quote from Owen Jones's book "Chavs". The quote itself was distributed as, what appeared to be, a photo of part of a page.

I won't repeat the quote because I have since searched "Chavs" on Google Books for key words in it and the results are coming up "Not Found".
