Hi witches,

I'm pleased to see the Hubbard travesty appearing in aibu, but worry that the increased awareness is going to lead to an increased audience for a not normally popular event. Which the BBC etc will twist into widespread approval.

I realise it's a bit late in the day but was wondering if we witches could cook up some kind of 'why I'm switching off for women' message for Monday. Not with a focus on Hubbard with a focus on who has been displaced. #I stand with....
Then it could be posted in aibu as a woman positive thread (I apologise in advance that I'm not brave enough to do it but I have poor mental health and aibu is the real viper pit)

I was also wondering if this already exists as a message as I'm not on twitter so could have missed an obvious one.

Makes me even more furious that a woman missed out on her Olympic chance for that shit show Angry

There’ll be a woman to blame for Laurel Hubbard not succeeding...

Roviel Detenamo. Remember her name.

Post it on social media if you can.

@FluffyBattleKitten

If they go for that, then they need to make it clear, whether it is based on sex or gender, as it stands this Olympics in the womens sports we have had women, a transwomen (allowed in on her gender) and a transman (allowed in based on his sex at birth) and those are the ones that are out, who knows who else the female atheletes are now up against.

Meanwhile the Men's sports have had men again based on what we know, but its more than likely.

They either go with you compete on your sex at birth, which allows someone like Quinn to keep competing, or gender, which is then allowing someone like Hubbard to keep competing.

Boycott unnecessary unless watched live.

Just watched the event on iPlayer- 1 hour. Loads of women.

No Hubbard. They cut the footage??!!

Deliberately thrown imo. Very convenient just in time for the message at the end which will conclude transwomen have no physical advantage.

Yes the sweet smile / dupers delight gave that away.
