The school is Colston School - he whose statue ended up in the river at Bristol. @colstonsschool Maybe the wokeness is over compensation for name embarrassment. I don't agree with knee jerk name changes but I can see if the management are under the spotlight for Colston it might be a factor in the over-reach here. A reason not an excuse mind you.

Bisexuality... attracted to more than one gender, but not all genders... I thought bisexuality was about attracted to both (2) sexes? Or have I missed something?

The Green Party went with "non-men" for a while but think thats been changed after women objected.

Gay men are non women as well.

There's another thread on here a KS1 teacher of ASD children who is trying to get material to teach her children the differences between men and women. How does this language help children like that?

I don’t think that chromosome information is accurate either. As far as I know when they have examined the dna of people with DSD it appears that it is nearly always either XX or XY, not mixed. Even in the very rare cases of XXY , or X people the presence or absence of the Y chromosome defines their sex.

No wonder children are depressed and confused.

So it's not important if a school teaches nonsense provided they teach consistent nonsense. Is that what you meant?

That's an appalling description of people with DSD.

Gay and lesbian flags are predictably colour-coded in the worst stereotypical way. Pink for lesbians, blue for gay men.

I don't know about the gay flag, but that supposed lesbian flag was dreamt up a mere three years ago as a trans-inclusive adaptation of an earlier, purely pink stripes flag (aka the Lipstick Lesbian flag) from 2018, meant to represent feminine lesbians. Which didn't really find much acceptance.

The original lesbian flag is from 1999 and purple with a labrys. It was widely adopted by lesbian feminists.

So, there's no universally agreed upon or accepted lesbian flag. But of course the school goes for the newest and least known one...

I dont need to define myself by what I am not - not that I am a lesbian, but every woman needs to be really pissed off by being defined as not being men. In trying to be woke they are really being incredibly sexist. As well as a lot of other things.
