Are we now not allowed to talk about our personal feelings on feminist issues?

@AdjustableAssholeSettings

From what I can gather, the spirit is to be "nice" and "kind". What the fuck does be kind mean anyway
In my experience it seems to mean allowing a large part of who you are get completely trampled over to benefit men.

You can’t speak for half of society. My feelings aren’t hurt. Don’t speak for me or for anyone else thank you very much. Given what OPs post was about that is REALLY funny! Ironic in a way Dear Alannis never was Grin

TheVoiceInMyHead · 26/05/2021 02:51

but it doesn't seem to matter that the feelings of half of society are hurt.

I'm not sure that the majority are GC when you consider how many woke women there are. Depressing but probably true.

EmpressWitchDoesntBurn · 26/05/2021 03:05

But how many of them actually know what’s going on? With prisons, for instance? Or
DV shelters?

ShastaBeast · 26/05/2021 04:10

Most women are older than 30. They may not be GC but they know what a woman is and humans have a strong sense of fairness when it comes to sports and safeguarding. Even sexist men see the reality of sexual dimorphism and that women should be protected from males in general.

More men will back this position. Very few men will see eye to eye with trans activists when it comes to who they have sex with, gay and straight.

ShastaBeast · 26/05/2021 04:29

I’m not going to post much. I’m clumsy with wording and get things wrong, even when posting sympathetically - I was very supportive of the trans issue and still feel for those affected. I’ll only get banned. Quite a few deleted posts most with no explanation. Possible neuro diversity on my part. I can’t keep up with what’s allowed or not.

I’ve found somewhere else to hangout and learn about feminism and GC issues. Somewhere I don’t have to worry about phrasing things so carefully. However, I really appreciate the posters here and hope you can continue and dodge the ban. I’m sure many people are learning about these issues and finding out more because of these threads. I know I did.

Is it safe to say where that is, ShastaBeast? I keep getting comments deleted too. I think the last one was for using the word ‘cult’.

JoodyBlue · 28/05/2021 08:16

The deletions are a nuisance. But they do mean that the arguments that remain are really watertight, evidenced, courteous, and balanced. MN FWR is accused of not being this way by people who don't like discussion full stop. But the strict moderation says otherwise. It is helpful that it is publicly available.

QuentinBunbury · 28/05/2021 08:33

I'm very upset that a support thread got deleted. From my perspective it looked like cynical goading of the OP and reporting so certain topics/associations wouldn't be discussed on a public forum. But I feel for OP who was having a hard time. 😕
