The BBC is pushing an adult trans activist agenda onto children

All BBC programming and content directed towards children and young people on the subject of transgender pushes an extreme adult, political trans activist agenda.

The Mail has reported on the notorious BBC Teach episode that teaches children there are over 100 ‘gender identities’ including ‘male’ and ‘female.’ Despite all the complaints, the episode is still up and children are still viewing it.

We have been writing to the BBC and we thought this would be a good time to openly share our latest letter.

I don't get the animosity towards the BBC?
I mean, I'm not LGBT in the slightest (completely straight) and as far as I know everyone in my family is too.
It seems to me a good thing what they're doing.
As in, raising awareness of people who are LGB, or T (putting T separate as know there's lots on here that think it shouldn't be there)
Why shouldn't people know about LGBT identities?
Doesn't mean knowing about them means you're automatically going to want to become it!

It seems to me a good thing what they're doing.

Do you think it's a good thing that they're teaching children that they might have a girl's brain in a boy's body or vice versa? Or that a girl who just a few years ago would have been called a 'tomboy' is now told that she's really a boy and that she can become one (with the help of hormones and surgery)?

Why shouldn't people know about LGBT identities?

What are LGBT identities? Is this to do with the 100 genders which the BBC think children need to know about? Why do children need to know about these 100 genders? And what are they anyway?

Being told aged 12 that it was possible to change sex would have been life changing for me.an opportunity to be grasped with both hands

It would have led me down a path that would likely have sterilised me.possibly impeded my mental development. Taken away my future sex life. Which aged 12 would have seemed a great idea.

It would have changed me. And prevented me from reproducing other people like me. People who don't have a pink brain but do have a female body.

Surely it is far far better to show that such drastic action is virtually never needed? That not fitting a mould is just fine. That people will love you not bully you even if you aren't like them. Because girls are not being supported to be free of stereotypes and be themselves .

@Quaagars while on one level your reaction is understandable and probably comes from a ‘good place’ - have you read the letter in the op? It sets out clearly the safeguarding issues as a result of such broadcasting. We need look beyond ‘being kind’, ‘knowing about LGQT issues’ and looking at the consequences. A lot of it is quite startlingly obvious when you look at it carefully.

I’m forwarding this letter to the PSHE lead at my son’s school (primary).

Quaagars

You’ve been on these threads long enough to have seen the results of what happened when the Swedish government acted to only present balanced programmes on TV and in media. Meaning that programmes like the education segment referred to here and the shows such as Leo’s would not be allowed to be shown without significant balancing and review to ensure the message is not that if girls don’t like their female body, and want to play football they are boys like Leo felt they were and are.

I’ll post it here just in case.

genderreport.ca/the-swedish-u-turn-on-gender-transitioning/

The point is, by presenting a balanced programming around transpeople, the number of children being referred to gender clinics dropped dramatically.

There is a line that the beeb seems to be crossing regarding how it presents trans issues. There are ways to present the stories of transitioners that is balanced and informative and there needs to be detransitioner stories being told again in a balanced way.

I've had a shocking few days,so filling that BBC survey out was very cathartic.
I'm a farmer and was well aware of their incorrect reporting about 'meat killing the planet' using evidence of agricultural practices that are illegal in the UK,to lambast the British farming industry. They had to admit that they were wrong on that, but did so very quietly, with zero publicity.
I gave them a right hammering over their pushing of misogynistic drag programmes, and their pushing trans 'rights' at every opportunity to children. I don't watch TV any more,as their constant farmer bashing was enough,so I'm glad that none of my money has gone towards funding their hatred of women and ambivalence over child safe guarding.

As far as I know, doctors cannot predict when someone will stop growing. This applies whether the young person is growing naturally or on Puberty Blockers or on Testosterone.

BBC ‘100 Genders’ video has been ‘retired’. Apparently we were ‘wilfully misinterpreting’ it....
