Sarah Vine on BBC Indoctrination of children on 100 'genders'

Abitofalark · 23/01/2021 23:17

In an article in the Mail, Sarah Vine declares the necessity to speak out when you know something is fundamentally wrong. She notes the Biden executive order and questions its implications for women and girls in sport etc.

Pulls no punches in referencing the BBC's masterclass in indoctrination of young children. " In a video entitled Identity – Understanding Sexual and Gender Identities, produced as part of the Corporation's online resource material for teachers, a group of schoolchildren aged between nine and 12 discuss the issue with teachers. "

'What's the difference between sex and gender?' (Answer: sex is the body parts you are born with; gender is who you feel inside). ...

Let’s not forget Sarah Vine is the wife of Michael Gove.

Funny the bedfellows we make in this whole shitshow.

GrinitchSpinach · 23/01/2021 23:33

So yes, let's protect trans people. But let's not teach our children to hate the bodies they were born in.

You wouldn't think this a statement so controversial women need to work up the courage to publish it, would you? But such is the current climate.

I'm glad Vine has weighed in; hope to see similar public statements from the many other prominent women (and men!) who share them privately.

The Mail also has this article about that dire programme:

Thewithesarehere · 24/01/2021 00:23

I never imagined I would see a day when I say YY to her. Confused

Lord, that article has lit a touchpaper. All it's doing is explaining transgender ideology via the BBC kids' resources and of course it sounds absolutely raving.

The commenters are unequivocally all absolutely outraged.

This is what happens when the general public find out what's going on.

highame · 24/01/2021 08:57

I love the comment by someone asking why Ofcom aren't intervening. Was tempted to tell them that Ofcom are captured

bourbonne · 24/01/2021 09:07

The Mail article mentions "an adult called 'Rachel' " in the video. I think they no longer care about scrupulously observing preferred pronouns etc!

BraveBananaBadge · 24/01/2021 09:11

Despise the woman, but she certainly has influence. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day and all that.

Even enjoyed bits of that. “'There are soooo many gender identities,' gushes one teacher, while her bemused charges nod dutifully. 'Over 100!' she adds excitedly, as though sexual self-selection were just different flavours at the pick and mix counter.”

persistentwoman · 24/01/2021 09:30

The Mail on Sunday is really going for the BBC about this today. They're also reporting about that programme featuring Webberley aimed at children.

Apparently the details have now been removed from the BBC website and the programme is not yet finished .. Hmm

Ifyourefeelingsinister · 24/01/2021 09:43

Is that shite still up on the BBC website? It's utterly shocking, and heartbreaking to see the children's faces as they try to process the nonsense their teacher is spouting.

2Rebecca · 24/01/2021 09:53

Why is it not fairly obvious to most people that there are 2 sexes and a gender identity of "genderqueer" for nearly everyone? ( In the clip in the link the silly 100 genders teacher says some people don't want to be any gender they want to be "just me". ). Surely everyone wants to be "just me". Your sex and your personality don't have to be linked.
It's like we're going round in a circle and coming back to the beginning again just with daft new words.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 24/01/2021 10:54

The little boy in the first video had 'bullshit' written all over his face.

BraveBananaBadge · 24/01/2021 11:12

I hate the idea of primary age children learning the word ‘genderqueer’ 2Rebecca. Words evolve and that is unfortunately what’s happening here I suppose, but it doesn’t strike me as a word for largely straight people to bandy about and muscle in on because they feel a bit different. Queer is a derogatory term, it was reclaimed to name a scene for grown adults. It makes me uneasy, although I guess that just makes me an old fart/ bigot these days.

Absolutely. Adopting this "newspeak" is once again pandering to the idea of gender. Late in the video one teacher says that "sometimes gender is the same as sex and sometimes it's different". The trouble is, WHAT is is that is different? So you have a boy body but a girl gender???? What is a girl gender? Define it? What exactly is that "girl feeling" what is different to your "boy sex"? Nobody has ever answered it convincingly.

They tie themselves up in knots and brainwashing kids with bullshit. Shame on the BBC. This is perhaps another thing the Baroness might chase.

beargrass · 24/01/2021 11:47

"Here we have powerful authority figures actively encouraging impressionable youngsters to question their sexual identities – at a stage in their lives when sex is not even, or shouldn't be, on the agenda. It is a masterclass in indoctrination. At the licence fee payer's expense.
Before they've even dipped their toe in the world of adult desire, these children are being taught to question their own bodies.
Gender dysphoria, a serious and distressing condition you wouldn't wish on anyone, is presented as something really exciting and special, worthy almost of a gold star.
This is not 'education'. It's bordering on child abuse."

She is right. See also:

"There is a certain irony in those who preach tolerance being the least tolerant when it comes to anyone who challenges their dogma.
In the current climate there is only one kind of conversation allowed around the issue of gender identity, and that is one that is rigidly positive.
If it's not all unicorns and rainbows, forget it."

highame · 27/01/2021 08:08

I have read, but I don't know where, that this has now been removed from BBC website. Can anyone confirm?

EdgeOfACoin · 27/01/2021 08:12

I tried to Google it, highame. It may well have been removed:

If so, good.

TheFleegleHasLanded · 27/01/2021 08:15

Yes it’s been ‘retired’. Us nasty women were wilfully misrepresenting it.....

Ifyourefeelingsinister · 27/01/2021 08:28

Glad it's been retired - but OMG, that grudging response from the BBC complaints team. That's worthy of a complaint in itself.

highame · 27/01/2021 08:37

But don't ya know the BBC is impartial and represents all of us. Well, all of the non-women

persistentwoman · 27/01/2021 08:48

That 'statement' from the BBC complaints team Shock If ever you need evidence of their bias, it's right there.

littlbrowndog · 27/01/2021 09:29

I know look at this bitter bitter retirement statement

Sarah Vine on BBC Indoctrination of children on 100 'genders'
EdgeOfACoin · 27/01/2021 10:44

I don't understand their statement.

The clip I heard was of a woman (a teacher or other authority figure) explaining to children that a question on gender identity was 'really exciting' and that there were over 100 genders.

In what way was that clip misrepresented by people who dispute the idea that there are 100 genders?

BraveBananaBadge · 27/01/2021 10:49

I’ll defend the BBC a lot, but that’s a poor and worrying defence. People weren’t really supposed to watch it, and it was “wilfully misinterpreted”?

Time and time again the only people I find wilfully misinterpreting things on this issue are those pushing this agenda and all the die-in-a-fire types.

aliasundercover · 27/01/2021 11:29

Misrepresentation by telling others what it said. Remember, we're supposed to keep the quiet bits quiet.
