David Bell, Tavi whistleblower

Dr David Bell, who compiled the original whistleblowing report at GIDS, is now subject to legal proceedings by the Tavistock, his employers.

I know it’s been a fantastic day but if anyone has yet another spare shovel, I’m sure Dr Bell would appreciate it.

I attended a seminar at the Scottish Parliament last Feb re gender dysphoria in children and adolescents where he was a speaker. He was marvellous.

How bizarre that they aren't considering the damage they're doing to their own reputation.

Surely now is the time to take a massive step back and look at everything they've got wrong? Surely they want to use that energy on making really deep changes structurally so the vulnerable kids they look after get the best care? You focus on them, no, if you really get where you've gone wrong.

I know this is being discussed by groups of other psychologist in private groups and there is a lot of chatter about the serious failings that have occurred.

The Tavistock has started legal proceedings against Dr Bell? On what grounds? Showing them up as criminally negligent?

My thoughts too. What a nerve! still, the more light is shone on their murky practises, the better.
