There were two threads on this topic, but I can't seem to access either of them.

Anyway, I've started another one. Who has received their copy with the fab posters? Mine just arrived this morning. Smile

I'm quite surprised at how much material is in the magazine! Will take a while to get through it all. Pretty awesome.

Here's the link for information about it if anyone hasn't come across it before

Not sure if this is the best place for this or not - I upgraded my subscription (decided I needed the artwork!) so I've now got 2 copies of the first issue.

If there's anyone who couldn't afford a copy and would like one, I'd be happy to post it.

Just received Issue 2. Fantastic piece about the Irish situation by Erica White and Radicailín. Beautiful conversation between Ceri and Lauren Black (LGB Alliance Ireland founder members), lump in my throat, lots to think about.

Can't wait to see it...😁

JustTurtlesAllTheWayDown · 16/02/2021 16:24

Ah lovely. I didn't realise the second issue was on its way already. Looking forward to it!

Dalyesque · 16/02/2021 16:24

WAs to get one online, no sight of it yet..

JustTurtlesAllTheWayDown · 17/02/2021 14:47

Mine's just arrived. I've had a flick through and it looks just as absorbing as the first issue. Very much looking forward to having a proper sit down and read through of it.

Still (im)patiently waiting for mine - I've ordered the first issue too and really looking forward to getting stuck into both.

@Manderleyagain

Notcis I noticed that too. Its the only thing that needs adjusting - a wider centre margin. otherwise it's beautiful and many of the articles really interesting. I'm looking forward to the letters page.
Agree it needs a wider centre margin. It's hard to read the end of sentences.

The artwork and magazine are beautiful

Feel like a kid in a car on the way to the seaside repeating 'are we there yet?',...except it's 'has the post been yet' to everyone in the house... every day... hope it comes tomorrow (but know local delivery centres have been struggling)

Oh it's all so bloody brilliant and I'm only up to page 25. Floored by the memorial poem to Natalie Connolly and what it is composed of. Not sure I will ever get over what happened to that poor woman.

Nehanda has written a lovely piece about climbing out of the rabbit hole.

Excellent piece about Marguerite Stern, wish I could find an English translation of her book but it only came out last year...

😍😍😍😍😍

Socrates11 · 18/02/2021 17:26

Obviously it turned up!

Shedbuilder · 18/02/2021 17:27

Got mine, too. Now need to take a week off work to read it. It's a hefty magazine!

I loved "A safe place to be" - it was just such a beautifully written relationship.

crossparsley · 18/02/2021 20:39

I love Allie Rogers’ piece on being a butch lesbian. I love reading people really thinking. Allie is smart and wise.
