Is Posie Parker still banned?

The posts about posie are always so contentious. I’m a stickerer’ and have attended a couple of posies events. I think she does a brilliant job in so many ways.
I posted on a thread about her a while back now, saying how great she was but disagreeing with one thing she said.
Well.
It was immediate and rather unpleasant. A group of very unpleasant posters pulled me apart on thread >. Apparently I’m ‘no supporter of women’

It’s very rare that any other feminist campaigners illicit such a strong and angry response.

I think it’s very divisive, nobody on this board or anywhere else is going to police my opinions or stop me voicing them. Why some would want to makes them no better than the people we’re pushing against.

I won't let the rudeness get in the way of my long-time lurking on these boards, which seem to be where all the most intelligent discussions happen on MN.

I don't post, but I do read, and am very grateful for various posters who elucidate and articulate all sorts of thoughts much better than I can (BovaryX, Goosefoot, queenofknives, the much missed LangCleg...)

I like Posie, she speaks loudly and from her heart. She’s honest, if blunt. Just like Julie Birchall (who I also like) I do not agree with her 100%. But I want to listen to what she says.

Oh thanks for checking @Malahaha I thought I saw something on her Instagram saying there was a ban on FB. I think she's banned from posting but didn't check.

There's a rule about pronouns... I think it may have been that. It's an easy one to fall foul of when referring to certain people- Jessica Yaniv, for example.

Oh my! Could Stella Creasy really not define woman in something like 400 goes? I would say that education in Biology should be compulsory up to third level, but many people still know what a man and a woman are without that. They must be really smart people. Genius level really.

I wonder how people who don't know what a girl or woman is manage when they have children. Do they say 'Oh gosh, I couldn't really tell you I had. It is a mystery only the greatest minds could solve".

It doesn't matter why Posie Parker is banned. She is permanently banned from FWR.
She's gone way beyond here, She doesn't appear to class herself as a Feminist. Her main concern is about the treatment and attempted erasure of women and girls.
Posie is not liked by "Intellectual Feminists" they appear to despise her. And some are extremely vocal about Posie's perceived failings. She is constantly discredited by many of those Intellectual Feminists. Posie is a happy married heterosexual mother of 4 She's noisy, blunt and gives no fucks. She will talk to anyone that will listen, she pulls off stunts that get people talking.

I think Posie is tremendous. A pint-sized force of nature with real guts and integrity, and a razor sharp mind. She isn't perfect, but then people rarely are.

She was banned before all this.

For various reasons that some agree with and some don't.

Her old posts are all here if you search. There may well have been threads about it when she was banned. That would be the obvious thing to look at if you want to know.
