Her colleague Crispin Blunt is calling for her resignation. The same guy who said yesterday he was upset she had not listened to him and his mates in the LGBT All Party Parliamentary Group who sent her a private paper on trans rights. Seems like he is a fan of making policy behind closed doors.

I just watched Posie P's shout outs on another thread and she mentioned Jackie Doyle-Price. She's completely passed me by and I can't use Twitter to check her out. Google hasn't proved fruitful. Is she another good egg that should be thanked?

On a similar note, any idea who is best to thank for the new schools guidelines, which are crystal clear common sense and more importantly, safe?

Yes she spoke yesterday in the Urgent questions to ask Liz to reaffirm the EA single sex exemptions (I think) and has generally been vocal about it in Twitter for quite a while attracting the standard amount of flak and abuse. I’ll add her to my emails - thanks for the reminder. There was a another lady yesterday called Felicity mp for Kensington I think.

Can I ask what message will work best inside the card.

I have a lovely card with an illustration of a seahorse on it but decided that might look a bit sarky.

I went for effusive thanks and a reminder there's still work to be done - sport, statistics, prisons. And then more thanks.

The tone of Crispin Blunt's comments is extraordinarily patronising and not lacking in tired misogyny. Liz Truss couldn't cope with the brief because she's 'overburdened', poor love. The irony of him referring to her as the Minister for WOMEN and Equalities throughout, but not once referring to women's rights and/or the conflicts Self ID throws up isn't lost either. Same old tired POV - woman lacks empathy because she can't see the side of the argument he's been lobbied into falling for... it is so wearing. My card to Liz is in the post!
