" Black Cis Women are destroying the black community"

Don't give this person views, I saw this on lipstick alley and I just need to vent.

Here's cliffs of the video from LSA and I'll add my thoughts-

"-He feels that black women shouldn’t be homophobic or transphobic because their in the same category as trans-women. @3:34

-Thinks that black women are at the bottom of the totem pole of society.

-Debunks that trans-women are checking for straight men but straight men are checking for them. @4:18

-Black women shouldn’t bring up their reproductive organs in order to validate their womanhood. @5:13

-It’s anti-black to exclude black trans-women. @7:56
Doesn’t really explain how black women are destroying the black community."

I'm tired. I wish they'd leave black women out of this. This video is literally a jealous gay male, upset that no one believes the men who fuck him are straight.
This all comes down to them thinking black women are masculine or the same as transwomen, hoping if they push this narrative then ACTUAL straight men will want to be with them openly.

It's not about racism, it's not about "Womanhood", it's not about the issues in the trans community.
They are addressing women instead of their fellow brothers because they want to bully us and fuck the men.
They know that their brothers won't allow this. Funny how this person's number 1 enemy are men, yet all this focus on BW?

I've been noticing a lot of loud anti-black women shit online, from both TW and TRA's.
I guess they feel like they can bully us better. I'm telling you, if the people these people wanted to fuck, did so proudly they'd give two shits about "Womanhood" "Feminism" and "TERFS".

This person does not want to be accepted as a woman, they want to be accepted as some "Straight" guys partner. Again, this is a MALE problem.

Black women aren't stopping men from wanting to date you guys openly. Im focusing on the "Straight" shit, because this is what this is about.
I'm not dumb, this person is jealous of black women because of men. Period. Everything else is scary buzzwords, hoping we'll get in line.

I've seen this IRL and online from transwomen. They'll even pull the, "if black women dated men who dated transwomen it'd help stopping violence against transwomen"

I'm so over it. A lot of this shit comes down to sex.

I agree with your assessment of this individual. Would be lovely if there weren't a ton of people like this but as I'm sure you know there are a ton of people like this.

Anyone who says black women are like transwomen is racist and misogynistic.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/07/2020 14:47

I will find the thread on Lipstick Alley. Thanks OP.

They really seem to expect black women to act as their support humans more than anyone else Thanks TRAs often claim all black women are happy to be erased and support them as allies, and get enraged when they don't.

Chiochan · 12/07/2020 14:53

I think there are many different agendas in the trans movement, and one of them is to try to push straight men to shag other men.

Though I dont think its a major one (pedo acceptance and the obliteration of womens rights are a lot higher on the list imo; as most TRAs/transwomen are essentially straight men)

Its uncomfortable watching this guys misogyny swisting itself in to knots so he can blame women in an effort to socially coerse men in to sexual relationships.

Good luck to him tho, men are famously imune to arguements that ask them to do things for other people, espicially when it comes to sex.

I have many stories of people like this. I have TW as friends, they are the ones who helped me see a lot of these things. I do not believe all trans women are like this or that, I do know what signs to look for.

The moment they start whining about "Straight" men, then I know what time it is. It's not about being a woman, it's about sex/fetish.

My BF used to be a hardcore TRA, then got punched in the face by their "Straight" bf for talking to them in public.

from then on out I think it clicked, that they were living a miserable life that was a lie, full of miserable people lying to themselves. They stepped away from TRA stuff, started dating an openly gay man and then they peaked me.

I really don't see why the internalized homophobia of people like that should be black women's, or any other women's, problem to solve. We are not their mothers.

Nalapolina · 12/07/2020 15:17

Sidenote- It's always funny how these types obsess over "Straight" men and their interest in them, yet they are the first to out "Straight" men for dealing with them.
Why are they outting a straight relationship?

I also love when they use Porn to prove their point, they'll go, "Well straight men watch the most trans porn! Porn hub said so!!"
okay, whatever you say sis.
Internalized homophobia is a bitch. Really she needs to address the gay/bisexual men they are having sex with into being comfortable with who they are.
but that'd be too much like right.

I saw this on twitter the other day. Absolutely vile. And the envy couldn't be clearer.

" Black Cis Women are destroying the black community"
Ereshkigalangcleg · 12/07/2020 15:59

That's horrible.

PennyNotSoWise · 12/07/2020 16:12

I've seen lots of stuff like that too Sunset, it's abhorrent. They compare the features and physiques of black women to men, and conclude that black women are jealous that TW look more feminine than they do Confused

It's like TRAs are deliberately trying to make enemies out of everyone. Maybe so they can keep up the oppressed victim narrative, who knows? How anyone can take them seriously at this point is beyond me.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 12/07/2020 16:32

I'm struggling to figure out how to say this without breaking the rules, so this is as tactful as I can make it - not a single woman who I know*, of any race, is "jealous" of transwomen in the way that some would clearly like to think we are. We do not view them as "competition" for straight men. That accusation is what's known as "projection".

I'm amazed that black women have been as patient as they have been with this nonsense, and not at all surprised that they're starting to push back hard. They have my full and unequivocal support in doing so.

  • Note - this is not a " sweeping generalization", as I am talking about women who I know personally and who I have discussed this with.
NonnyMouse1337 · 12/07/2020 16:42

It's really shitty that black women have to deal with a double dose of racism and misogyny from so many of these trans women and activists trying to justify themselves. So sorry that you have to experience this nonsense.

They think, "Black women look and act like men and are still considered women so why aren't black transwomen considered women?" and this is something I've only seen BTW and WTW do towards black women or women they feel look "Manly".

They want women to be seen like transwomen instead of them having to seem more like women. So they come at people they already see as "Manly" and that's black women.

So of course WOMEN have to change for MEN to feel accepted, not the other way around.
I even saw a thread where a transperson said that "Cis women can be clocked as well" and they were trying to make a point that saying cis women look like men is "transphobic" and they had a whole thread of pictures of BLACK women who they said people said looked like men.

They try to pretend that black women, in particular, are trying to look like transwomen, instead of the other way around.

White transwomen LOVE bringing up black people in their "It's transphobic not to date us" debates and black women in the female sports debates as well.

Apperently everyone else needs to change to accept them but they have to change nothing to be accepted. Sexualities have to change, what a woman is has to change, what a man is has to change, suddenly childern can make life changing choices about their body.

Suddenly, dicks aren't male, vaginas aren't female, suddenly sexuality is a choice based on "Identity" and should be shamed if you aren't open to trans people. Suddenly transwomen are real women. Suddenly it's okay to shame people for dating choices that are legal.

I get it's hard to be trans, I just believe very few people in current day are TRUE transpeople.

Clearly projecting their own insecurity and sexual jealousy on to black women. It’s pretty sad, really.

Why doesn’t this person take this issue up with heterosexual men? I’d say they’d get short shrift...

BatShite · 12/07/2020 16:49

I tend to turn off at the 'transwomen are women as much as black women are!' bit as its just so undeniably racist. Seems to be becoming more and more common though. Originally though surely this must be a fringe view. Mind I think that about a lot of this nonsense and am constantly 'surprised'

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 12/07/2020 17:01

It's honestly so predictable that when the wannabe unstoppable force of trans activism meets the immovable object of the heterosexual male libido the response of the people finally being told "no" is to blame women, who have no involvement in what's happening whatsoever.

Deliriumoftheendless · 12/07/2020 17:09

Black women don’t look like men.

wellbehavedwomen · 12/07/2020 17:14

True misogynoir, right there. Where black women are confronted with both racism and sexism in one toxic mix.

I'm really fucking sorry. It's outrageous and awful.

Doyoumind · 12/07/2020 17:20

It's amazing how many times black women do get brought into the argument trying to prove that TWAW.
I saw a twitter thread by a black woman that I've referenced on here before. It suggested that the majority of BTW are looking for men and them being trans is linked to homphobia, whereas WTW often identify as lesbians because they are basically hetero men. I thought it was an interesting observation.

Coyoacan · 12/07/2020 17:21

The only people I've ever heard say that black women look manly are TRAs.

I'm nearly seventy and, being extremely pale, have had the misfortune to have occasionally, by accident, been in the company of racists making racist remarks.

Branleuse · 12/07/2020 17:23

wow, I dont think ive ever met anyone quite so vacuuous as that person in the video. Really odd

DeRigueurMortis · 12/07/2020 17:27

That's awful OP Sad.

I note Serena Williams gets a lot of Male hate for being a physically powerful female athlete.

I look at her and think "wow" what an amazing strong and beautiful female (and I love watching her play - on top form she's imho the apogee of female athleticism).

Steffi Graf had similar insults thrown at her but at nowhere near the same magnitude (obviously SM not a factor at that time and I also think race was a factor).

I seem to remember JKR tweeting about Serena in this regard with a beautiful picture of her asking why she was being targeted for her "masculinity".

They just don't like women very much do they - especially powerful, successful women who've achieved more in life than they ever will and when those women are black it's even more galling because they have overcome the double whammy of their sex and racial heritage through talent and bloody hard work.

So no, don't celebrate these women, denigrate them to suit their own ends. Fuckers.

Feelinggoodtuesday · 12/07/2020 17:29

Jeez, another thing to prepare my daughter for. The list is becoming endless.

Crazybunnylady123 · 12/07/2020 17:40

@Feelinggoodtuesday I just gave birth to my second girl and I despair the things I will have to explain to them both.
I feel old and I’m in my early thirties, I can’t believe what’s going on in the world sometimes!

SunsetBeetch · 12/07/2020 17:45

@Deliriumoftheendless

Black women don’t look like men.
No. Only a racist misogynist would say such a thing.
CatandtheFiddle · 12/07/2020 17:45

I'm tired. I wish they'd leave black women out of this

So sorry that you have to deal with this.

TRA beliefs are misogynist & racist - the appalling argument that transwomen are women like black women are women. Just utterly, ignorantly, so so racist.

How long is this going to go on?
