So she went from writing this

in 2018 to the fascinating piece in Penis News
Amy certainly seems to be an extremely vulnerable person and I have no doubt that she has been groomed and manipulated, I am simply highly skeptical about her claims to have been groomed by a lesbian feminist GC cult.
For the avoidance of doubt I believe that any activist network can develop cult like tendencies. Are there cultic elements within feminism? Of course there are. Feminism has been subject to entryist infiltration just like every other activist group.
Is the entire GC movement a cult? Of course it isn't.
I have many disagreements with posters here about a range of issues, yet I am still posting here and, despite our differences, we manage to engage in nuanced discussions about complex issues, which is a situation that does not happen in cults and cultic environments where everyone has to sing from the same song sheet and difference is not tolerated.
Within the GC movement there are, as far as I can discern, 3 main issues that people agree on, although due to individual differences these may be numbered differently in terms of priorities.
They are
- Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. This is especially important given the fact that certain types of predators and sex offenders clearly hate women, fetishise womanhood, experience AGP, experience significant feelings of entitlement in relation to entering single sex spaces for women and girls. I would just like to add a person comment about this issue. While I appreciate women only single sex spaces my main concerns is not about a person with a penis being in, say a female toilet. My main concern is about a person with a penis who feels entitled to be there regardless of the anxiety caused to women and girls, being in a women's toilet. It is the very sense of entitlement and the dismissing of safeguarding issues that indicates male priviledge and a person likely to pose a safeguarding risk IMO.
- The Orewllian society in which we live, the infiltration of statutory agencies by TRAs and the policing of language and of "thought crime". The infiltration of academia, especially mental health, sexual health and sexual medicine by quacks, charlatans and, it has to be said, paedophile activist and sex cultists. The fact the the police are being trained in expensive, ineffecgive, dangerous CDP accredited courses (including leadership training) by cultists and quacks. The shocking situation with regard to Police Crime Commissiners, I could go on and in. There are important issues here about social engineering, corruption and propaganda that need to be unpicked and examined.
- The inevitable homophobic and far right response to the unicorns, rainbows, faeries and Stefoknees as the pendulum swings from one extreme to the other. It is not only lesbians who are harmed by this insane circus, nor is it only the women and girls whose rights and safety are placed secodary to those of a tiny minority of trans identified people, who are harmed. The people most likely to suffer the most are the vast numbers of vulnerable, trans identifying people, many of them young or even children, who are likely to endure the worst hostility when the inevitable far right backlash intensifies.
This thing with Amy Dyess being GC one minute and then changing her mind completely and making accusations about her past allies is a familair situation to anyone who studies cults.
I am looking forward to her book as I would like to read more about her allegations in more depth. I will be reading it from a position of being open minded yet skeptical, as always.
