Have to say I have never heard of her, but she is giving pink news everything they every wanted to hear!

It’s been an epic journey getting to this point. I hope my story will help LGBT people avoid the GC movement or find their way out of it. I might write a book about what I went through, but this article by @vicparsons_ is a good overview.

And is obviously hoping to hook others into asking her opinions with this barely veiled threat of more shock horror stories to come:

I have receipts on some big names that weren’t mentioned in this piece, but hopefully that part of the story will get out in the future. Let me be clear that some GCs are well meaning. Some have helped me. Many of the leaders in the movement are corrupt, though.

Can I join the lesberati if I'm not a lesbian?

bloody exclusionary if not!

BlackForestCake · 18/05/2020 13:49

So she hasn't written a major article since 2018? It's always what people don't say.

BlackForestCake · 18/05/2020 13:50

So does Amy now believe that some women have cocks? Because as far as I can see, if you don't believe that then you're part of the "GC movement" whether you like it or not.

HerFemaleness · 18/05/2020 14:05

Julie Bindel has an interesting double life, by day a journalist and women's rights activist. By night the evil head of an international cult of powerful wife trafficking lesbians. Grin

Cuntysnark · 18/05/2020 14:10

She made me put weight on in lockdown. I’ll never forgive her.

Lordfrontpaw · 18/05/2020 14:14

She made my geraniums die. She made me fat too. I suspect she is responsible for Covid-19. She is just evil.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 18/05/2020 14:15

Julie Bindel made my tomato plants die. absolutely nothing to do with me forgetting to water them Shame shame!

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 18/05/2020 14:19

Tinsel I’m happy to pair up but only if our leaders give us the go ahead.

R0wantrees · 18/05/2020 14:31

There are some AfterEllen articles as well as Medium pieces published 2019:

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a woman in possession of biology based facts, must be in want of a wife.

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 18/05/2020 14:50

If there's a crime in progress, how do I summon the International Network of Powerful Lesbians?

Would a dykesignal light reflected off the clouds do the trick? Doc Boots and Dungarees?

Silly milly! You send out the signal of course.

A cat silhouette?

Freespeecher · 18/05/2020 17:10

If you lot were a cult then would there be quite so many ding-dongs in the comments? I think not.

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 18/05/2020 17:19

I'm in a cult, don't know about you. I've got my badges and everything.

LemonPudding · 18/05/2020 17:24

It's a parody, has to be.

MockersxxxxxxxSocialDistancing · 18/05/2020 17:28

I'm in a cult

Have the Lesbirati been misplacing your consonants?

ScrimpshawTheSecond · 18/05/2020 18:17

Crikey, Mockers. We're not allowed consonants, it's all labial fricatives round here.

StrangeLookingParasite · 18/05/2020 21:08

"Breaking News: Identity of Papa Lazarou revealed as none other than Julie Bindel.

We reached out to Julie for comment and she responded with "Hello Dave"."

From the twitter thread.

wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 18/05/2020 22:04

Brilliant Parasite.

Julie Bindel made me miss my sideburns this morning when I dyed my hair. Pfffft.

MoleSmokes · 19/05/2020 00:17

I hope she has got some real friends to look out for her locally because she is clearly not a well bunny.

We really are pathetic when it comes to being a Cult though, so it's no surprise she bailed out.

Has Bindel not shot across the Atlantic in the jump jet yet? By now she should have landed on the roof, abseiled down the side of the building, strapped her into the Reprogramming Machine and injected her full of Anti-Trans GCJuice.

I'm voting for Peppa Pig as Cult Leader next time.

TBHno · 22/06/2020 20:33

Amy keeps saying that she has much more to release (but then she never does).

Am I right in thinking that since she's never been to the U.K., she hasn't even met most of the people she's slagging off?

hoodathunkit · 23/06/2020 10:08

So she went from writing this

medium.com/@amydyess83/terf-is-hate-speech-and-its-time-to-condemn-it-6efc897ce407

in 2018 to the fascinating piece in Penis News

Amy certainly seems to be an extremely vulnerable person and I have no doubt that she has been groomed and manipulated, I am simply highly skeptical about her claims to have been groomed by a lesbian feminist GC cult.

For the avoidance of doubt I believe that any activist network can develop cult like tendencies. Are there cultic elements within feminism? Of course there are. Feminism has been subject to entryist infiltration just like every other activist group.

Is the entire GC movement a cult? Of course it isn't.

I have many disagreements with posters here about a range of issues, yet I am still posting here and, despite our differences, we manage to engage in nuanced discussions about complex issues, which is a situation that does not happen in cults and cultic environments where everyone has to sing from the same song sheet and difference is not tolerated.

Within the GC movement there are, as far as I can discern, 3 main issues that people agree on, although due to individual differences these may be numbered differently in terms of priorities.

They are

  1. Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. This is especially important given the fact that certain types of predators and sex offenders clearly hate women, fetishise womanhood, experience AGP, experience significant feelings of entitlement in relation to entering single sex spaces for women and girls. I would just like to add a person comment about this issue. While I appreciate women only single sex spaces my main concerns is not about a person with a penis being in, say a female toilet. My main concern is about a person with a penis who feels entitled to be there regardless of the anxiety caused to women and girls, being in a women's toilet. It is the very sense of entitlement and the dismissing of safeguarding issues that indicates male priviledge and a person likely to pose a safeguarding risk IMO.
  1. The Orewllian society in which we live, the infiltration of statutory agencies by TRAs and the policing of language and of "thought crime". The infiltration of academia, especially mental health, sexual health and sexual medicine by quacks, charlatans and, it has to be said, paedophile activist and sex cultists. The fact the the police are being trained in expensive, ineffecgive, dangerous CDP accredited courses (including leadership training) by cultists and quacks. The shocking situation with regard to Police Crime Commissiners, I could go on and in. There are important issues here about social engineering, corruption and propaganda that need to be unpicked and examined.
  1. The inevitable homophobic and far right response to the unicorns, rainbows, faeries and Stefoknees as the pendulum swings from one extreme to the other. It is not only lesbians who are harmed by this insane circus, nor is it only the women and girls whose rights and safety are placed secodary to those of a tiny minority of trans identified people, who are harmed. The people most likely to suffer the most are the vast numbers of vulnerable, trans identifying people, many of them young or even children, who are likely to endure the worst hostility when the inevitable far right backlash intensifies.

This thing with Amy Dyess being GC one minute and then changing her mind completely and making accusations about her past allies is a familair situation to anyone who studies cults.

I am looking forward to her book as I would like to read more about her allegations in more depth. I will be reading it from a position of being open minded yet skeptical, as always.
