Anyone doing the Edinburgh protest on Saturday?

To protest for women's spaces.

I'm planning to go

I will be going. Travelling by bus from Glasgow if anyone wants to meet up. Hopefully my for women badge will have arrived by then. Will prob make a placard, maybe "I'm not just a thought in a man's head." Other suggestion welcome. Poster paints will be out on Fri night.

I feel weirdly embarrassed to have a placard. I don’t know why!

Yeah, I'll probably have it rolled up whilst travelling. Felt self conscious about my placard for anti brexit/ anti no deal march too Tho it did say "If I don't get my Lithium I'm gonna go mental" My protests have been pretty successful so far as you can see

Slogans that challenge the Scottish government's GRA proposals would be good, as well as those around upholding free speech, women's rights etc.

Coming through from the west. Might see some of you on the bus, or train if I sleep in. Feeling a bit nervous as I had really hoped that my protest days were behind me. Damn you Mumsnet for re -radicalising me. 😁

Maybe in light of presiding officer not upholding point of order Elaine Smith raised about Patrick Harvie's speech, we could make some signs saying " women say 'cis' is not parliamentary language"!

Reminiscent of the TRA's placard at the Women's Place conference I think I want one in the suffragette colours, purple white and green, that says SISTERS NOT CISTERS.

I was personally a fan of the “There’s no CIS in Team” placard.
