Weinstein guilty

I’ve posted this before but I really do think it bears repeating:

Rape is Rape.

And there should be a single, flat (long) sentence for it.

But rapists should also always be charged with the other crimes they commit during the course of the rape - coercion, detaining or restraining someone against their will, threatening behaviour with a knife, assault by hitting or slapping or punching, etc.

Every one of those should be a separate charge brought against the rapist with a separate sentence.

There are so many violent crimes that go along with rape but rape is the only one that the perpetrator is charged (and then only if you are ‘lucky’).

There's another case coming up.
And who knows, there might be more.
It seems the pattern is to get them locked up for something, even if not the most serious or highest number, then add more cases in later.
Let's hope so.

I had to turn the radio off this morning because they were doing a phone in about Weinstein and it just seemed to be an opportunity for some men to call up and air their misogynist views: 'these women knew what they were doing', 'they could have chosen a different career to avoid it' and 'it was only third degree rape so there was no violence involved'. I couldn't listen to any more. How can people believe this shit and think it's acceptable to voice it?

@GrandMazur I never win anything! But that kind of move is typical of arseholes. How many Nazi/war criminal/murderers and other psychopath pull that move? Faking the shit out of everything in a last ditch attempt to avoid responsibility. Dementia next? I dont think California will stand for his nonsense. And its personal for them as its their biggest industry and they have to be seen to clean up the industry. I reckon the charges will be heavier and harsher. Where will he serve the sentence though? If he gets a low sentence in New York, will he finish that thenbgp to Californiabto serve anythingbhanded down there?

I've got to say, the stuff about his naked photos being shown to the jury, and the victims detailing his "deformed" genitals... it's quite satisfying that he was the one being violated and humiliated after what he did to all those women.
There's a gripping, wonderful (true story) series on Netflix called Unbelievable, and once the rapist is caught, you see his bodily autonomy stripped away too.

This is pretty much what a penile preserving vaginoplasty is! They remove the testicles and fashion a vulvaish shape from the empty scrotal sac and make an orifice using either a segment cut from the colon or a skin graft to line the hole.
The penis remains but doesn’t work because of the castrated testicles. Viagra or other erection aiding drugs are necessary.

It’s not very common but apparently is available on request even through the NHS. Normally you have to have transitioned for at least a year before you can have genital surgery but if anyone can afford to pay a doctor enough to avoid that gatekeeping, it’s Weinstein.

Tomorrow I will get out my Apple Pencil and draw you all an artist’s impression, save you from the photos. We can’t crowdfund enough to purchase all the necessary eye bleach.

Weirdly Epstein had an unusual shaped penis too. It’s mentioned a lot by his victims - teardrop shaped iirc. In one of the documentaries he stops a court hearing/appearance when it’s mentioned.

Just a thought - could Epstein's and Weinstein's weird shaped penises be a result of circumcision gone wrong?
Both are jewish, so would undoubtedly have been circumcised, and these operations do go wrong and lead to disfigurement from time to time.
