I hadn't come across this before. Another way in which women's bodies are commoditised and exploited.

This is truly vile. What else are these men putting their poor wives and babies through?

As for feeling princely - what kind of person could even begin to feel good at the expense of their infant's health.

Is there nothing men won't do to show that they are more important than everyone else? That their wants are a priority or every one else's needs and survival?

This is on Woman’s Hour now.

Just listened to it melioration

It's so sad and unjust for those babies and the Mum's.
I breastfed two babies and the thought of my husband... ugh. Can't even type it.

It was a good programme all round. Selena Todd was on in a feature on the women’s conference in 1970.

Can't even type it.

I know. As a concept it's soo unnatural it's difficult to even hold it in your head.
