Oh that's awful!!
I don't want to buy any - never mind.

feelingverylazytoday · 14/11/2019 17:06

Any item can end up being yellow stickered, no need to read anything into it.

PurpleDaisies · 14/11/2019 17:07

What’s wrong with stork? Must have missed this.

HappyPunky · 14/11/2019 17:52

It's made by upfield who don't want mumsnet users to buy their products.

WhereYouLeftIt · 14/11/2019 18:01

"Any item can end up being yellow stickered, no need to read anything into it."
True, all it means is the item is approaching/reached its sell-by date, and is still unsold. The shop had ordered an amount that they anticipated their customers would buy, and then found not enough customers bought it. Grin

TheChampagneGalop · 14/11/2019 18:28

Satisfying.

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 14/11/2019 18:36

what a pleasing picture

I must say I've found boycotting flora and stork a lot easier than I'm finding boycotting M&S

come on Marks, sort it out. I've got lots of lovely money for you. all you need are single sex changing rooms.....

WrathofSlxFootSlxEIf · 14/11/2019 18:39

A thing of beautyjust deserts.

RedToothBrush · 14/11/2019 18:47

Supermarkets have very sophisticated ways of ordering the right amount of stock to maximise profit....

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 14/11/2019 19:16

Never mind the stork, did you happen to notice how much the Actimel were OP ?

feelingverylazytoday · 15/11/2019 14:17

whereyouleftit
True, that must be why I picked up a block of lovely organic butter for £1.20 in Sainsburys last week.
Sorry, but some people are really reaching here, and sound a bit daft tbh.

BeMoreMagdalen · 15/11/2019 15:31

Don't be so snooty. The women here are taking the piss. They aren't reaching, they're inviting the other women here to enjoy a jab at a company which has attempted to restrict women's ability to talk about their rights. I know full well how retail works. I'm still going to enjoy a bit of 'Fuck you, Upfield'.

Redshoeblueshoe · 15/11/2019 15:50

Well badger you made me laugh Grin

feelingverylazytoday · 15/11/2019 17:00

Don't be so snooty
Yeah whatever...

feelingverylazytoday · 15/11/2019 17:01

By the way, how is the mumsnet boycott of Nestle going? Have they crumbled yet?

EverardDigby · 15/11/2019 17:16

Yep, me too, Friday nights were traditionally M&S food nights (as well as many lunchtimes, as I pass a garage one on the way to work often) - but not at the moment, sigh.

steppemum · 15/11/2019 17:16

totally missed this, does someone wnat to link or explain?
Ta

Fieldofgreycorn · 15/11/2019 17:54

MockersthefeMANist · 15/11/2019 17:58

The women here go to Lidl??

With hoods up and arms full of Waitrose carrier bags?

TheChampagneGalop · 15/11/2019 18:03

What's wrong with Lidl?

nevernotstruggling · 15/11/2019 18:06

@feelingverylazytoday alright lils. I've boycotted Nestle for 39 years. Whilst they are clearly still standing at least my conscience is clear.

Fieldofgreycorn · 15/11/2019 18:11

Well quite. At least an M&S decoy.
