The disregard they show for people with disabilities,disgusting.The one bloody toilet they get and it will be changed to a free for all they should be ashamed of themselfs. How selfish do you have to be to think that up.

Women generally have a decent internal alarm - we have to. From childhood we are wary of people (usually men) who give off predatory vibes. Men don’t seem to have this or ignore it.

We just can’t afford to be ‘nice’ and go out of our ways to not offend people. What can we do though?

The creature who murdered those children and teacher in Dunblane had a reputation locally as a man you wouldn’t want around your kids. When he did this no one seemed to say ‘I’m shocked it was him, he was a nice/quiet man/good to his mum’ - it was more ‘well sooner or later...’ but nothing could be done. What can be done?

Yes, I checked back on the earlier thread, about him campaigning for gender-neutral toilets, before this news broke, and the alarm about his appearance came up several times.

But we can do nothing. I just read a twitter thread where a woman asked why there was a male attendant in the changing rooms. When she was told the rooms were unisex she dug a bit more and it turns out that if a man wants to try on female clothes that’s ok - as long as he was genuinely wanting to try on woman’s clothes. So what’s the assistants are mind readers now? Can you imaging some Saturday teen staff tackling someone like this in a changing room - they tend to be self rightious bullies who ‘know their rights’ and would scream ‘I’m gong to get you fired!!!!’ And ‘call me ma’am!!!!!!’

I am aware that this is a Catholic publication but it seems it has crossed the pond.
