How many looked at the photo in earlier reports and their alarm bells rang?
Women generally have a decent internal alarm - we have to. From childhood we are wary of people (usually men) who give off predatory vibes. Men don’t seem to have this or ignore it.
We just can’t afford to be ‘nice’ and go out of our ways to not offend people. What can we do though?
The creature who murdered those children and teacher in Dunblane had a reputation locally as a man you wouldn’t want around your kids. When he did this no one seemed to say ‘I’m shocked it was him, he was a nice/quiet man/good to his mum’ - it was more ‘well sooner or later...’ but nothing could be done. What can be done?
