Once we arrived, we saw concerning puppy fetish stall a Mermaids stall (child transition lobby group) and various other promotional stalls.

Am I reading this right - there was a Mermaids stall AND the puppy fetish stall at the same event? This is all so messed up.

While most of the people who surrounded us were teenagers seemingly excited to be part of a protesting tribe, it is evident from the video that there are older people who come in through the back of the crowd and encourage them

During the chanting, the kids appear to occasionally stop and focus on someone as if a teacher or director. They definitely were being used as puppets.

Thank you for sharing that Roomba. I hope we touched some more people in the crowd that day. One lesbian woman we talked to was very interested and receptive, she was unaware of the issue previously. Another was sat on the steps sending us positive vibes (someone chatted to her briefly.) A straight couple came up afterwards to share their support for free speech and peaceful protest (they can be seen in video, open mouthed at 2 teen boys striding over shouting 'fuck off terfs.')

The crowd was not mainly girls, I would say 50% males, a lot of whom transidentifying (stupid hair, accessories colours etc, because trans really is just the new cool teenage tribe.) Also the initiator of protest was a non trans identifying male, & a self confessed straight male who believes 'a woman is anyone who identifies as a women & they dont have to say or do anything for that to be the case,' informed one of us on twitter that he was in the think of the action.

Transgender ideology is extremely popular amongst straight males as its gives them a lovely pretext to totally colonise and destroy remaining boundaries of WAG. Consolidates their position as dominant/oppressor class. We all know this. Teenage males today have usually been watching extremely violent degrading pornography since early adolescence (smart phones took off in 2008, at same time average age of first exposure to porn plunged.) The research shows even small exposure to pornogrpahy negatively correlates with wane in support for women's equality and rights. It's a perfect storm. :(

Ugh. My skin is actually crawling. So lesbians are not welcome, but these creepymen with boundary issues are? It's unreal.

I don't think such obvious organised cruel homophobia has ever existed in the UK.

I've been to many Pride celebrations in a variety of cities over the past 20 years or so (stopped going now for obvious reasons). At the majority of these, there were conservative Christian protesters along the route waving signs with biblical passages, saying that gay people were going to hell and to repent our sins etc. (Quick google search-ed example: www.flickr.com/photos/rogercracknell/6813905844/ )

And you know what? Generally, the organisers made no reference to them - I can only think of one event where, at the start of the march, we were informed that they would be there but told just to ignore them. And that's what people did. Occasionally, a drag queen would pose for a photo with them to take the piss but I never at any Pride event witnessed any violence against them, never heard Pride organisers try to incite the crowd into violence against them or refer to them as dogs. Never saw any attempts to identify, track them down and have them sacked or beaten up.

Compare that to the way lesbians are treated for defending lesbian sexual orientation at an event that is supposed to be for lesbians.

I bet the kids in this video have no idea they're being homophobic.

It's chilling to see young girls so enthusiastically embracing misogyny, without even being aware that's what they're doing.
